The Palms? At Crown? Why, Wes, why?

Now, if it were The Palms Food Court in Syndal, I’d go. Mmm, roti…

Mmm I know what you mean. I really cannot get enthusiastic about going to the Rooty Hill RSL as iconic as it is.

It’s never been the same since Max Bygraves quit touring….
Now after me…
“You’re a pink toothbrush, I’m a blue toothbrush
Have we met somewhere before?
You’re a pink toothbrush and I think toothbrush
That we met by the bathroom door.
Glad to meet toothbrush, such a sweet toothbrush
How you thrill me through and through
Dont be hard toothbrush on a soft toothbrush
‘Cause I cant help loving you.
Every time I hear you whistle…… it makes my nylon bristle…….
You’re a pink toothbrush, I’m a blue toothbrush
Won’t you marry me in haste?
I’ll be true toothbrush, just to you toothbrush
When we both use the same toothpaste.”

Yuck, I like Wes but I’m not going to Crown.

Poor Nat. Poor Casey. Poor Kate. Idol really doesn’t give their female winners a chance, do they?

Kate was a talentless ego driven mole….Natalie not much better…thank good ness they are no where to be seen now!

It does seem like Natalie has been forgotten by the record company. I was very surprised Kate won Idol. I think her career is now reduced to Carols by Candlelight in regional towns, or a P&O cruise gig if she is lucky.

I think P&O is trying to rebuild its reputation, so Kate might be out of luck!

14 of Wes’s 28 shows have already been canceled or postponed. And his WA concert was still selling blocks of ten tickets in the 10th row a couple of days ago, even with the tickets heavily discounted, so that one is looking in jeopardy too. His album has only sold around 29,000 in 7 weeks, which is what Natalie Gauci sold in her first 2 weeks, less than Kate sold in her first 2 weeks(32,500), and even less than Casey did in in her first week of sales(34,000). As for Guy and Damien’s first week sales(163,000 and 89,000) well Wes’s sales look plainly ridiculous compared to those. What can you say. Just that Wes is heading down the “So long, nice knowing you path” very quickly indeed.
