Asian chef….focus on Poh…disgusting stereotyping. Watch for a focus on Julie when the introduce Margaret Fulton.
Sarah is looking absolutely fabulous in her outfit tonight.
Poh did grab one of those toothpaste tubes of herbs.

Should be interesting to see if they can handle 5 plates of the same dish. Haven’t really seen any challenges focussing on consistency other than while in Honkers.
Is Julie only doing dessert? Hmm.
did the contestants know in advance what they were going to be doing? if not, why was Poh practising last night ????????????????

WHY was Poh in dining room when Margaret tasted…did anyone hang around to get compliments. Haha, French chef says technical dish…umm, not really, isn’t it homemade Chinese cooking…perhaps Nonya?

Taste test? Might as well just flip a coin or actually have them go into the parking lot and do a penalty shoot out.
Can somebody please help me understand why, when you’re given a night to prepare and told you will be shopping at COLES, you would choose to cook a steak? Surely you can’t bank on the quality of the meat, and that’s such a huge part of how a plain “seared” steak turns out.
And Andre – can the boy cook anything but various permutations and combinations of gnocchi, caponata and lasagne?
Taste test – true, CG, lazy, lazy, lazy. Kyvyny – I think a penalty shootout with Chris and Andre choosing items from the pantry to lob at each other, as well as an item to help them defend goal, would be perfect.
Oi, Injera. Lay off GnocchiMan. You may think he’s pasta his best but when you least expect it……yet another jaw dropping lasagne…50 versions and counting…now there’s a cookbook.
Sigh. I’d like to see Chris go. that aluminium foil looked the tastiest thing on the plate
Oh, Wurstsemmel, you can find a pun where others fear to tread! Couldn’t you just feel the burn when Jacques asked Chris “Is this foil edible?”.
If Chris was sensible, he would keep star anise up his sleeve in the taste test. I think Andre’s earlier experience of chewing on a hunk of it would provoke some sort of aversion reaction and would mean he’d fail the test. Oh, no!
Ha! Injera. There is an idea. One of the two in the taste test should sneak in a distinctive spice…drop it in the pot (assuming it is not an ingredient in the dish)…and let his/her competitor taste it!! Hmmm. I would feed Poh…toothpaste tube Coconut Creme!!

I know Julie very slightly, and she’s exactly what you see on the show – I hope she stays in and the ‘spoiler’ alerts have been wrong about the final 4.
I also like Justine, both for her cooking and her attitude, and I cheered when she and Julie came top in the challenge last night. Is it just my imagination, or does George leer lasciviously every time he speaks with Poh?
I am also puzzled why the judges haven’t pulled Chris up for his personal hygiene yet – that hat must be bacteria-ridden, and his limp greasy hair is a complete turnoff.
Would definitely eat at Justine, Julie, Julia and Lucas’ premises. Andre’s restaurant would be great for satisfying those lasagne cravings!!
I really do think Andre seems nice … but I am just waiting for gnocchi-lasagne, with a side of caponata
Oh, Loulou, I think Andre could do better than that! I’m thinking:
layer a pasta sheet, layer of caponata, layer of semolina gnocchi, layer of caponata… repeat ad nauseum (sic!) and top off with potato gnocchi and cheese.
Actually, that would be a perfect pre-Around the Bay dinner…
