(For the record, I never found him entertaining anyway). The show is stale, the singers are extremely mediocre this year, some of the semis have been downright tedious to listen to, nobody is taking any chances - where are the Chanel Coles, the Bobby Flynns, the Ben Mackenzies? The judges do not even judge the singing anymore, it's all about how somebody looks. (This wouldn't change if Kyle was around!) They barely mention the actual singing anymore. Mediocrity prevails, eg the pimping of the brickie who quite clearly cannot sing. The show has lost its allure and soul, and it's not going to be fixed by Kyle.
