RR – I haven’t been watching The 7PM Project either. Tried a couple of times but found it awful… The two episodes that I did see, James wasn’t even on, sadly.

Loved James, loved Kyle (so shoot me). Sacking Kyle was over-reaction. I’ve seen & heard a lot worse on radio & TV since Kyle’s supposed major media crimes. The talent is kind of mediocre this year, but some of them are stepping it up. Still watching. It’s wondering who’s going to surprise me that keeps me watching.

Anon – I miss James as well, I don’t watch the 7pm project so I don’t know how he is going on that is it a good platform for him?

DMC- I feel sorry for Jay Dee as he was just thrown into the deep end not able to find his feet in the audition and top 100 shows which are not live. But there is some chemistry missing on the judging panel.

Andrew G is fine, Jay Dee is fine…. but yes they are missing the spicy elements. And the talent on average is just not there, partly due to the small pool that Australia offers and partly because of the judges’ decisions on who to let through. I really don’t know why I’m still watching……

I completely agree with him re: the talent overall, but I don’t miss Kyle in the slightest. It’s the insight, banter, wit and general presence of James Mathison that I *really* miss.

The arrangements have also been lacking – can’t help but wonder if that has anything to do with John Foreman’s absence.

Kyle though, honestly, couldn’t give a shit about him. I’d rather see Holden back.
