Masterchef Australia – The Big Winners From Masterchef Are Julie Goodwin and Poh

Poh Ling Yeow

There were some big winners out of Masterchef Australia particularly Matt Preston, and George Calombaris, however the big winners out of the contestants are definitely Poh and Julie Goodwin.

While the rest the Masterchef contestants slog it out doing appearances, and cooking exhibitions, Julie has managed a fabulous contract with Woman’s Weekly, culminating in being on the cover of their December issue.

Poh who has signed with ABC TV has started filming her new cooking show according to

She also has contracts for cookbooks, also she will be flying to LA to assist Curtis Stone on a shoot. Maybe while she is there she can give him some tips on how to cop with being on a reality TV show. Curtis will be a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice.

And let’s not forget Julie’s advertising contracts for… oh, just about everything! Love her cover of Women’s Weekly, but boy, the saturated advertising was a bit off-putting. I understand running with your five minutes – but she’s sprinted off with it!

What is Poh wearing = apron on backwards?

With Poh its all about the Suzy Wong image…backwards apron exposes the itty bitty titties…should attract an interesting demographic to the ABC.

I don’t think it’s an apron backwards. It’s just a funky designed tee.

I saw Matt Preston flogging a CD this morning. Aieee. He’ll wear his welcome well and truly out.

I think it looks like a waistcoat.

Matt Preston is selling everything, even Dicko did not get this much exposure on his first season of stardom.

Masterchef cookbook is out and is one of the highest selling cookbooks ever. I wonder if any of the contestants get any cash from it.

Oh Julie. Woman’s Weekly and Masterfoods. I love her tomato dip ad on the TV, made with bottled tomato sauce. That’s some true innovation and killer chef skills right there, alongside the deal with the shining star of premium cooking, Woman’s Weekly, of course. loooooooooooooooooooooool
