Former Home and Away star, and now reality TV star Bryan Wiseman was pretty cool about drunken Nicole not remembering the chest lick she gave him. But reason is he has been in that situation before. In 2007 he sleep walked whilst on a Stilnox sleeping pill. (Source Daily Telegraph)
Chances of seeing him back on the screens in Home and Away are slim as last year he spoke out about the drug culture on the set of the popular soapie. Todd Lascance an actor from the show is currently before the courts on drug charges. (Source news.com.au)

Injera, Google Stilnox and Ambien and see for yourself what can happen to people. A poor girl jumped off the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Try telling the dead girls family how reluctant you are to believe it. What people need to also remember is the fact it is reality television and if you don’t like it all you need to do is flick the switch and change the channel. People who get on blogs and bitch about people in my estimation are looking for people to criticize to make them feel good about their own short comings. We all need to lighten up in this world what with terrorist attacks, natural disasters ie; 200,000 people killed in Haiti. Before you all start clutching your pearls and reaching for the smelling salts and racing to a blog to judge people, try and find time to see the good humorous things in life…there’s too much bitterness and venom in the world as it is. If we look for the good, we will find it. If we look for the bad, we will also find it. Just a thought…
Mattie – my initial comment wasn’t very well worded. I certainly do believe the stories related to Stilnox (hence not using them since). I was being – as you point out, insensitively – flippant about Brian’s re-enacted for TV experience.
I love reality TV – I think it’s the perfect antidote to the hideousness in the world!

Prima Facie, it would appear you are suggesting Bryan is a liar and your latest article can be deemed defamatory. You yourself are being a lame writer by not checking your facts first. Reckon Bryan is super sensitive. I started a thread on the official site saying I’d found his shtick with his `little helper’ housekeeper borderline racist, and a few other viewers agreed. That thread was taken down a couple of days later, and then the whole forum shut down. There had been much, much worse written about other contestants but that seemed to be the clincher. I guess his foray into reality TV didn’t give him quite the career boost he’d hoped for.
Reality television worldwide has been around for almost a decade and internet forums have basically been here for the same period.
Every person on reality TV gets slammed on forums (I’m sure Miss RR can attest to this) and blogs and some of the things I’ve read have been very inappropriate.
However, I have not read of one reality TV contestant ever succeeding in a defamation case against a forum or web host. Why is that ?
Now this Mattie character thinks he has a chance…..
You would think companies like News Ltd, Google, Telstra would take an active interest in any such case if action did begin.

Gavin – I deleted the comment regarding the stilnox incident. As I previously received a strongly worded email from Bryan about a previous commenter who wrote about it.

Bryan was never a star off Home and Away. Nobody there has ever heard of him. He appeared once every 4 or 5 months as the token doctor but never had a major story line.more like an extra.
He is sueing the CDWM people for something someone said on their forum. Funny how he can say bad stuff about everyone else but if anyone says anything aginst this dud he cries like a baby.

Don’t tell me he could have been ’shock, horror’ telling a few tales – especially about the drug taking he had witnessed at the event.

Not even every genuine tv star gets an invite to the logies. its not possible for everyone to attend every year. Someone like wiseman would never have been given an invite ever. in his dreams.he was only a semi regular extra in H and A , nothing more. he lies when he claims to have been a star. i read an article yesterday about him cloning his dog and raving about being an animal lover but he obviusly doesnt care about animals being killed so that he can eat them for dinner every night. all animals feel pain and feel fear and terror just like us humans. why is it okay to kill a chicken or a lamb and eat it? thats not being an animal lover.
