Jackie Gowan is on Ready Steady Cook as well as MKR so I would think she would be able to be on Masterchef. I’d think that her contract with 7 would last only as long as her short stint on the show. Anyway, I really like her, I think she would be great as a judge on Masterchef.

Injera – Probably the TV stations cannot afford to piss off advertisers, or the media sales dept are not clued in to the “politics” of other TV stations stars.

CG – I probably did stick my chin out on that one… I like Jacquie Gowan on MKR, but that would cancel her out from being on Masterchef Aust. I take it you don’t think much of Ellen as a judge on Idol.

@can’twait – a non-contained Christine Mansfield sounds entertaining.

Wurstsemmel – Kylie Kwong would be OK and a safe pair of hands, but not that entertaining.

Culinary Boner – Very amusing I am sure they will put in some female hot tottie.

Fiona – I agree I think MKR only whets the Masterchef appetite.

Fides – Good point about the Masterclass, that had not crossed my mind.

Wurstsemmel – Oh God you are so right about Pete Evans and a thunderbird model.

Yep, Manu or no, there’s no doubt MKR fades into comparison alongside MC. I doubt we’ll see any of the MKR judges this time.

Does anyone else think Pete Evans looks like a Thunderbird model?

I don’t think My Kitchen Rules comes anywhere near to Masterchef, I know I have been waiting impatiently for the new Masterchef season and I’m sure it will be a big success again. I don’t mind seeing a bit more of Matt Moran either!

“Hotness” eh Raver?

Surely without that Sarah whats-er-name, us straight blokes will be looking at a hotness-free zone for this year’s MCA.

Especially as we are going to cop a whole heap of promos and appearances featuring last year’s winner, Julie. Guess us blokes will just have to make do with the antithesis of “hotness” – homeliness.

Plus, of course, a bevy of female lust objects in the form of a tall fat guy with penchant for cravats (they do cover double chins quite nicely, thank you very much) and a couple of shorter, manic bald blokes. Happy drooling girls.

Hopefully only a couple of the female contestants this year have moustaches.
