Masterchef Australia Two New Advertisement And Launch
Masterchef Australia Season Two launched last night in Sydney to much media fanfare.
TV Tonight said the top five from last year’s series were in attendance were there apart from Poh Ling Yeow who was sick. I am not even going to ramp up an ABC conspiracy theory on this one, as it would have been good publicity for her show if she had attended.
Pity I was not there as I could have asked Chris Badenoch about the reasons behind his split with Beermasons (See previous blog post here.)
The TV Tonight blog outlines the first 50 contestants by states:
New South Wales: 14
South Australia: 10
Western Australia: 4
Tasmanians will be pleased they were not ignored like on My Kitchen Rules and hopefully one of them will get through to the top 24.
George Calombaris says the contestant’s are better then last season.
It will premier at the end of April.
As regular readers of this blog will know this was the GO TO place for all information, recaps, and gossip on the show, as it will be again this year. Hopefully Injera will again be involved in the coverage of this three month reality TV marathon.
The Masterchef Australia website will be upgraded to include full-length catch-up episodes, contestant interviews, profiles, viewer forums and video of contestants’ signature dishes. Again Channel Ten is leading the other TV station’s with their social media, and multi media strategy.
