Farmer Wants A Wife To Premiere On July 28
With Masterchef Australia finishing up in the next couple of weeks, other TV Networks are now unleashing some reality TV arsenal.
Channel Nine are premiering one of their rating winners, Farmer Wants A Wife. Season Five of the show will start on Wednesday 28 July at 8.30pm.
The Farmers are:
Farmer Nathan, 26 – Runs cattle on 1.4 million acres
Farmer Devon, 25 – Cropping, wheat, barley, lupin, rye, oats and peas, on 4500 acres
Farmer Charlie, 25 – Sheep and cattle, on 6000 acres
Farmer Shaun, 31 – Sheep and crops, on 7500 acres
Farmer Becky, 34 – Cattle and sheep, on 1 million acres
Farmer Jamie, 39 – Pearls, in 12000 acres of water
Becky is a single mum who lives 2 and half hours from the nearest supermarket. Nathan is a drover so when he leaves home he can be away for weeks, so that may explain why it is hard for him to hold down a relationship.
In episode one the farmers gather at a country estate to meet their top six choices. Over the coming weeks they will cull the list to three potential partners. The twist this season is that the partners won’t know the location of the farmers until they actually reach their farms.
Every season I think I am not going to like this show, but it sucks me in every time.
