Come Dine With Me Australia- Looking For Season 3 Contestants
After watching three and a half months of Masterchef Australia and feel you can serve up something better then microwave chicken, but would need a bucket load of alcohol to help with TV nerves well Come Dine With Me is the show for you.
Lifestyle Channel and Granada are currently looking for contestants for season 3.
The show follows amateur chefs competing against each other in hosting a dinner party for the other contestants. Each week over five nights, five total strangers take it in turns to cook up their idea of the perfect evening for the other four. Each believes they can cook up the perfect evening and hopes their unique style will clinch them the title of best host and the cash at the end of the week.
Ok so you don’t get a cookbook deal but you only have to cook once, then you just have to turn up drink, tell a few jokes, and then bitch to camera about your fellow contestants.

Now if you are wondering hang on Season 3, where was Season 2 – relax - Come Dine With Me Season 2 will be premiering on Lifestyle on 23 August at 8.30pm.

Can’t wait. And I thoroughly endorse RR’s comments. This is must watch TV.
On a side note, we have been doing our own Come Dine With Me with a group of friends the last few months – generally once a month. I got my cooking stint over and done with early so now I can just go and get drunk and enjoy some reasonable food.
Which is basically what the whole show is about.
Was watching something on Food TV with a friend and whooshed through the commercials… until we realised we’d speeded past an ad for CDWM. We rewound and watched, just to see “Reality Ravings” telling us to watch! Go RR!
Can’t wait for this season. Hope they grow a pair with the show’s forums, cos there seemed to be a number of refugees from the heavily moderated (and perhaps even discontinued?) opportunities for fans to vent in the first season. Although perhaps it’s not so bad… more fun over here!

I would love to be a contestant on series 3. I live in the Albury/Wodonga area. I love cooking and throw many dinner parties. I am a Funeral Director and Marriage and Funeral Celebrant. I love to party and have a lot of fun. I am 45 years of age and really know how to entertain. I am a singer and have been in bands for years not so much in the past few years.
