Australia’s Next Top Model – Controversy Over The Use Of Fur

Fur shoot

It wouldn’t be season of Australia’s Next Top Model if there had not been some controversy and this week it was the use of fur in the photo shoot at Thredbo.

Funnily enough I thought it was interesting the viewing demographic of this show were outraged, and they bombarded Foxtel and the official Facebook page with complaints.

The show said that because fur was in at the moment they tried to reflect current trends. also that the fur used was vintage and/or ethically farmed.

Nothing wrong with fur! Gosh, these PETA fanbois are annoying. 😛

I thought the photo looks awesome. As long as the fur is “ethically” farmed, why let it go to waste?

But I don’t watch the show, so… no real bother to me. 😉

Ethically farmed? What a lot of b***s***!

PETA is doing a great job against all these selfish humans who think they own the world. You annoy me and you are ruining our planet. You should take a good long look at the Chinese fur trade and educate yourself before you talk about such nonsense like vintage fur and ethical farming. As if any of these capitalistic designers would do that!
Couldn’t care less about the show, but that people seriously believe it doesn’t matter, is just shocking, heartless and if there’s nothing worse than having no empathy!
