Does Kyle Sandilands Want To Be The Next Alan Jones?

Kyle Sandilands appears to be pissing off people this week, he was a no show at the  Nickelodean awards on Friday night when according to Ros Reines he had assured organisers he was on his way.

Also it looks once his time with the young Today FM demographic goes, he would like to be the next Alan Jones as  he is wading into politics by taking on Clover Moore in relation to her proposed licensing rules. Kyle who is part owner of a few nightclubs in Kings Cross, used his radio show to criticise her.

The Sunday Telegraph writes:

The controversial 2DayFM host and X Factor judge told listeners of his breakfast show on Friday morning that he would “get rid of” Moore, claiming that her plans would kill Sydney’s nightlife.

Sandilands has a personal interest in fighting the proposed changes to the legislation, having bought into the Kings Cross nightclubs Piano Room and Trademark alongside his business manager Andrew Hawkins just two months ago.

Sydney City Council put on display details of proposed changes to planning policies on September 27, which if passed, would boost their powers to close venues at midnight. Sandilands said the legislation would run hoteliers out of business.

“All these nightclubs, they’ll all shut down because they can’t make money if they close before midnight,” he said. “I’ll get rid of that woman, you watch. Eighty-year-old woman trying to run the town. Go to the retirement village, you old clown.”

Hey – sorry that this doesn’t quite relate to the article, but what’s the theme for tonight’s show? My Foxtel IQ cut off on Monday Night right as the judges werea bout to make their choices. I watched Xtra Factor to see who went, but not the theme? Thanks,

Dakota, the theme was rock anthems.

RR, I think he’s a bit too full of his own self-importance. I watched XFactor for the first time in weeks tonight and it’s obvious he’s trying to put other singers who he isn’t mentoring off their game by slagging them, nothing constructive.

And I think I agreed with Ronan, he’s got NFI about song choices. Seven have wasted a lot of money employing him – I hope the contract isn’t too long.

The theme was Party Songs.

dont stop believing is moving in when X factor moves out…is the space as big as it looks on tv??
The early Idol wasnt filmed at Fox, but in some small sound stage over the bridge somewhere.
