What a bizarre story – apparently he was eaten by badgers…though eaten by beavers would have somehow seemed more fitting.

I wish I could believe this story, if only for the terrific headline-writing that it’s already inspired. However, every story about it has quoted the same single source, which always makes me suspicious.

Raver I am now also sceptical…I can’t find it covered by The Sun anywhere and a story like this would be right up their alley (hi ho, hi ho).

Who can forget The Sun’s serious coverage of the 2003 Iraq war with their page 3 “Weapons of Mass Seduction” campaign. I’m sure these clippings were the highlights of Blair’s morning briefings.
