No Surprise That Pauline Hanson Is Using Celebrity Apprentice To Reinvigorate Her Political Career

It is no surprise that Pauline Hanson went on Celebrity Apprentice to raise her profile to give her another crack at politics, and today she fired her first salvo.

In news.com.au today Pauline Hanson says Julia Gillard is the “worst ever” Prime Minister.

However Pauline must have taken a leaf out of US The Apprentice Donald Trump political attack style and is querying Ms Gillard’s nationality. Donald Trump campaigned for Barack Obama to show his birth certificate to prove he was born in the USA. His campaign worked and President Obama had to showed his birth certificate to the American public.

Hopefully Julia Gillard won’t bother commenting on this bollocks.

Pauline said in the news.com.au article:

Speaking on the set of The Celebrity Apprentice, Ms Hanson, 57, said she was seriously considering running for the next federal election because of her disgust at the way Ms Gillard was handling the country’s affairs.

Also in a bizarre claim, she questioned Ms Gillard on the issue of citizenship.

Ms Gillard was born in Wales, but does not have dual citizenship. She renounced her British citizenship in 1998 before entering parliament. Despite this, Ms Hanson continued the attack.

“I would like to know, has she got dual citizenship because she was actually born in Wales, or is she solely an Australian citizen?

“Because I do not believe a prime minister or any member of parliament should have a dual citizenship because I want to know where their loyalties really lie,” she said.

Seriously Pauline I have not seen many pro UK, pro Welsh policies emerging from this Government. However Pauline has not been known to put up real policy.

In last week’s TV Week, Julia Morris who is also on Celebrity Apprentice said she apologises to Pauline Hanson for making fun her in her political hey day.

However Julia should remember that Ms Hanson’s policy are based on hate and fear.

She won her electoral seat on the back highly publicised press from her saying advocating the abolition of special government assistance for indigenous Australians above what was available for other Australians.

Her maiden speech implied she wanted a return to the white Australia policy. She said immigration policy should be reviewed, and multiculturalism should be abolished. She aimed her ire at Asian immigrants. However her economic policy was also naive. She wanted high tariffs and a flat tax.

Also the One Nation finances were murky which led to an overturned conviction for Pauline for electoral fraud.

Expect to hear more politics from Pauline as the pre-publicity for Celebrity Apprentice heats up.

This is the same Pauline Hanson who in February last year announced – as if this was news of the century – that she was moving to the UK to escape the ‘Yellow Peril’ and ‘Islamic Menace’ Down Under – http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8515977.stm

And then in November 2010 she announced – again in news to rival the fall of the Berlin Wall – that Old Blighty weren’t up to scratch as it wasn’t Coronation Street season 5, 1964 with dentally-challenged oiling (but whinging) whities but instead full of strutting Ali G wannabees and *shock horror* black people. To quote Australia’s Queen of Racial Tolerance: “I love England but so many people want to leave there because it’s overrun with immigrants and refugees”.

And the rest is history. She came back. Tried again to score another pot of electoral commission booty. Failed. And is now indulging her narcissistic political-celeb fantasies as a token freak (along with Warwick Capper) on Celeb Apprentice.

Methinks she’s a bit short of dough and wants to milk electoral funding a little more.

As a Brit myself, I think the UK had a very lucky escape. She must have had her head deep down in the sand if she didn’t realise Britain is probably more multicultural than Australia.

Can’t we just shove her in an asylum seeker boat and float the dumb bitch off somewhere…anywhere?
