Queen Victoria Building – Santa’s Swarovski Christmas Cave
Some of you might know I have two children, and a lot of the time they see me with my head buried in my laptop. So when I received an invitation to take them to a preview of the Swarovski Christmas Cave to meet with Santa at the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney, I thought it would be nice for them to get something out of my blogging for a change.
And it was well worth it.
Santa’s cave is on the second level of QVB so it is a bit quieter then other Santa locations as and they also get to see the biggest indoor Christmas tree Australia. Everything is sparkling the crystal garden is indeed beautiful and Miss 7 loved it. Mr 3 freaked out at everything to do with Santa except when it came time to tell him what he wanted for Christmas.
Santa will be there on level two of QVB from Monday 28 November.
Also speaking of Christmas Ikea have got a good campaign going on at the moment.
For every IKEA soft toy purchased between November 1 and December 24, the IKEA Foundation will donate €1 (which equates to AU$1.40) to UNICEF and Save the Children, to help improve the quality of life of children in underprivileged countries access to vaccinations, clean water, sanitation, education and protection.
They also have released a new collection of soft toys which is called CIRKUS, and you guessed it they were a circus theme. Like most of IKEA products they are reasonably priced.
