Ada Nicodemou Will Host ‘Marry My Boy’

Marry My Boy is a new show that will be seen on Channel SEVEN next year.

The premise is four mothers will pick a girl for their son who they consider is a perfect match.

This show is based on the US version of the show Momma’s Boys which was shown on SEVEN late at night and found quite a few fans from this site.

Channel SEVEN has shown they have a knack for doing these niche reality shows which on paper look like the format is low rent and dubious.

Dinner Date, which I thought was going to be a complete debacle was fantastic and Four Weddings is very entertaining.

Hopefully Ada Nicodemou from Home and Away and a former Dancing With The Stars winner can bring the right balance to the show as host.

The show stars with a round of speed dating with a twist; the mums and sons meet 10 girls, but what the son doesn’t know, is that mum will be the one choosing his top three candidates. Also the chosen girls are told they are moving in with mum.

No date on when it will premiere just yet.

Hey, this is good as long as they get the kind of momma’s they had on the US version. It was such a scream.

Hopefully this will get rid of Ada on Home and Away. She is so annoying and needs to go! As much as I hate to say this I actually think she might be ok at this hosting gig. Keen to see how she goes. But get her off H & A!!!

“…mothers will pick a girl for their son who they consider is a perfect match.”

Doesn’t this already happen in daily life anyway, especially in Mediterranean and West Asian cultures?
Maybe SBS should’ve done this instead of the Bore-domones*?

Thanks for the credit CB – although I would put the hyphen:
Boredom-ones (‘ones’ still pronounced ‘owns’).
