Kerri-Anne Kennerley Confirmed For Dancing With The Stars And She Has A Slash At Nine
Kerri-Anne Kennerley has been confirmed as the first contestant on the next series of Dancing With The Stars, this is follows on from the announcement of Mel B replacing Sonia Kruger as co-host on the popular show.
I am actually looking forward to this year’s series. There are also rumours Shannon Noll may be lining up to do the Rhumba. He won’t be the first of Australian Idol’s alumni to tread those floor boards, with Damien Leith proving popular with the viewers last year.
Richard Clune of the Daily Telegraph also got a great scoop with Kerri-Anne also taking the opportunity to have a slash at Channel Nine.
CONFIRMING her defection to Seven, television queen Kerri-Anne Kennerley has hit out at her former employer Channel 9, likening it to Italian cruise disaster ship Costa Concordia.
Speaking for the first time since being dumped late last year, Kennerley also described Nine’sWilloughby headquarters as being full of wild animals.
“When people are under stress they don’t always do things as you would expect them to do things and there’s no denying that those Channel 9 executives are under high stress,” Kennerley told The Sunday Telegraph.
“It’s on the record that they’re being chased by a bunch of banks who will need to resolve their financial issues.
“There are a few parallels between (Nine) and the Costa Concordia: they veer off course, hit the rocks, try to right themselves and sink and the captain gets off first, so let’s see how their year pans out.”
Kennerley, who learnt of her demise from this paper, and not Nine managing director Jeff Browne, added: “I don’t think it’s too much to expect a little courtesy, no matter who you are.”
Yes I think the classy Kerri-Anne will be getting the last word in on that one.
