The Biggest Loser – Lydia Is One Step Closer To Returning

It was a short episode of The Biggest Loser tonight. But what did we learn:

  • Out of the current five remaining contestants Michelle is the fittest and Kasey is the least;
  • Hamish showed he is still a bit wimpy and will cry when it all gets too hard;
  • Ryan showed that he is probably going to struggle to lose weight, as he looks so ambivalent about it and in the challenge just gave up;
  • Bek and Belinda are keen to get back in to Camp Biggest Loser;
  • That Belinda was not as smart as I thought she was, as she did not know a tomato was a fruit; and
  • That Lydia has a shot of getting back in the competition as she won tonight’s weigh in card.

RR, i think you mean Brenda, not Belinda. Some of the questions are irrelevant to nutrition knowledge like Alex’s bioage and Ryan’s starting weight. So it was also a contest about paying attention and retaining info..

Ryan lied to Dr Swan when he said he knows how to eat well and last night he said he just started to learn about nutrition i.e calories count and it showed that he knows very little.

1/2 hr episode tonight and no episode tomorrow. I think this lot/show is so boring that they can’t even follow a normal schedule. They have hrs of footage and can’t even bother to do the normal schedule.

Agree Littlepetal. They are really dragging it out – with no programme on Thursday it means we will have to wait until some time next week to find out who gets back in! At least Bek didn’t win a pass last night – she’s a very unpleasant person ..

With the Monday night show now appearing on Sunday night because of the failure of Rob Mills No Talent Time, it throws their whole week out.

Oops yes Brenda not Belinda. When they start shifting schedules it confuses viewers and they move onto something else. I wonder if this will be the last season we will see of The Biggest Loser for a few years?

It does get confusing but at least the thursday recap/makeover shows are better than previous years when the whole episodes were a lecture on what to eat and how to exercise. Masterchef used to do a similar thing every Friday with the know it all “good chef”, and so did The Renovators which became so boring. Hamish is such a cry baby and was quite sulky towards Shannon because of his man cold, don’t know what Michelle sees in him!

A big sooky teddy bear that’s always going in for a kiss and shops at Tiffanys and who’ll vote for her.

Hamish’s theme song would be-

I Would Do Anything For Love- But I Won’t Do That( Run Up Dunes)

I love how Shannan rabbited on about Love being the greatest motivator while Hamish was failing. Nothing to do with the $220,000 that the contestants are fighting for like starving seagulls over a chip…..but real seagulls would have more dignity and get the calorie questions right.

Ch 10 insult their viewers by having them wait til Sunday to see who makes it to the cruiser without drowning for the last weigh in pass. It looks like Bargear$e Bek.
