The Block – Brad And Lara’s Room Wins

The Block last night saw another room reveal this time the roof terrace, and the utility room beside it.

Even thought Sophie thought it was a dumb idea for teams to have the laundry on the third floor, it was not something that was negative for the judges.

Brad and Lara won with their laundry/entertainment area. They also managed to fit three drink fridges in the space. Personally  I feel that was a tad excessive considering anymore then ten people on the terrace would feel a bit claustrophobic.

But also props to them for not filling it up with too much stuff. However it was easier for them as they do have the biggest terrace.

The boys Andrew and Mike are really not doing as well as they should be. First of all they have the advantage of having two guys to do their work and they have renovated before. However each week they don’t get their rooms finished. Maybe this week it had to do with going to the pub rather than renovating.

Sophie and Dale were unlucky to come second considering their wood like wallpaper was called inspiring by judge Neale Whittaker.

Dale and Dani came in third with their study, however the judges pointed out there was no storage in there.

Which space did you like the best? Did Brad and Lara deserve the win?

You would have to like your neighbours to be using those rooftop terraces as you would be almost sitting next to them! Even with a fence up, you wouldn’t be wanting to have a quiet read on your deck if next door was having a few drinks with friends on their deck.
Also, with the laundry on the third floor, does that mean you would be hanging out your washing on your terrace?

Liked Brad & Lara’s space. With laundry on the third floor would be hanging the clothes out on the terrace.

Would love to have seen the privacy screens go up…to show how tight those spaces really were.

Wouldn’t pay that kind of money to live check by jowl next to someone. Bring on the noise complaints.

I preferred Dale & Sophie’s, but I am not unhappy Brad & Lara won- they were my 2nd choice.

As long as Dan & Dani don’t win- I’m happy ;-).

I do think the laundry on the 3rd floor is a nightmare choice!!!!!!!

Brad and Lara’s was defiantly the stand out. But come on boys! You’re letting me down! At least this show is elimination free. I’ll still get to perve on them for the duration no matter how bad they do.

Maz – Good point about the privacy screens

Sue N – Unless they are just going to use the dryer all the time, which I am sure would be tempting but very greenhouse friendly.

Smauge – Don’t get the boys they have a huge advantage but are stuffing it up.

The boys have more ambition than the clock and budget will allow. A laundry on the third floor is something you put in a house you won’t have to live in.

Dani seems to have finally broken Dan. She thinks it is because he is a quitter not because she is a selfish bitch
