Brynne Edelsten Reality Show – First Review Is In
Ros Reine’s from the Sunday Telelgraph is one of the first people to see the new Brynne Edelsten reality TV show and she is giving it the thumbs up.
I was surprisingly impressed with Edelsten’s warmth and vulnerability on screen. She comes across like Marilyn Monroe – especially in the scenes when she dons a frilly apron to make a pavlova in her efforts to entice her ageing husband Geoffrey, 69, into the mood to procreate.
It is somehow not really a surprise to learn that the former Las Vegas glamour puss cannot cook.
Unlike Bingle’s flimsy plot lines, which are stretched out like a cheap bra strap (in last week’s outing she went to Los Angeles to see a niche agent about a career in modelling and checked out an expensive condo she had no interest in renting but there was lots of promo footage of Air New Zealand’s pointy-end cabin), Edelsten does seem to have a lot going on in her life.
Brynne gained many fans from her time on Dancing With The Stars, with the normally savvy Sonia Kruger attracting some negative media by paying her out about her older husband.
Her reality show will be screened on Channel Seven later this year.
