Being Lara Bingle – Not Sure What The Point Of India Was

Well a quick summary of the Being Lara Bingle episode for those who missed it:

  • Being bumped by Kelly Cutrone and then Lara sighing how you can’t rely on anyone. Clearly thinking having to work is not a good excuse;
  • Meet with an Aussie expat in LA who is a stylist and appeared to not know that her fiancee was Michael Clark, however then gushed at her how good it was to see her;
  • That stylist is also going to be in a reality TV show;
  • Fly to India lie in a hotel, go and eat chapati’s with a very poor family, have an epiphany about whether she needs all those material goods, then gush five minutes later with happiness when the palm reader reveals she will have a lot of money;
  • Reveal that when Michael Clark is in India he does not leave his hotel room and just orders room service;
  • Meet the stalker call centre guy Jason and then pay him out after they left about him being besotted by her – what did she expect?
  • Stalker call centre guy Jason revealed he was a better conversationalist than Lara;
  • Have a montage of what she has done in India including buying some food for some poor kids;
  • Next week’s preview we see Lara getting naked for a shoot with GQ, because it is a high end publication this is seen to be classy.

After Ma$terchef in Tuscany , Lara’s show wasn’t that bad tonight.

I’m disappointed we’re not getting any coverage of the gastro challenge bdd.

Perhaps Ten could combine Being Lara Bingle and the gastro challenge? They kind of go together.

Maybe in series 2, she can do a stint as a nanny for Octomum’s brood

Couldn’t help but watch this, after the farce of MasterChef. How stupid did they look, wearing very expensive saris and high heels, in a very poor area of Mumbai! I think the mother of the call centre feller was hoping that one of them would stay and make an honest man of him!

Then I wonder, who on earth is paying for all this continent hopping – probably not the Indian Tourist Board!!

That show was really creepy to me for some reason.

She showed what a shallow person she was, acting like she really cared about the poor people and the strike that was going on. Poor Jason was made to look a fool, they were laughing at him as they went off on their merry self centered way.Why is she paid to do this rubbish, just give the money to the poor Indians instead.

Going to India and disrespecting their culture and way of life was appalling. She is an absolute train wreck who clearly has no concept on what the words “work” really mean.

Most cringeworthy moment of the episode….Jason singing “She will be loved”. Well Jason…maybe she will be loved by her family, but clearly no one else could.

And as a model…personally find her face way too fat to be model material….which company in their right mind after this show would want her as their brand ambassador??

At least we didn’t have to see Josh try and milk his 5 mins in this episode
