The Shire – Vernesa Knifed At A Shopping Centre
The Shire star Vernesa was knifed today at a shopping centre reports the Daily Telegraph.
It should be placed on the record that the Mayor of Sutherland Council was not involved in the fracas, nor was it a Network TEN publicist trying to whip up some publicity for the low rating show.
According to the Daily Telegraph this non-consensual knife action occurred because of a personal vendetta.
The article states:
ONE half of The Shire’s pneumatic double act, Vernesa has reportedly been injured in a suspected knife attack at a Rhodes shopping centre today.
The beautician from Lansvale, who appears in the Channel 10 reality series about Sutherland Shire locals, was believed to have been treated at a Rhodes medical centre, with police confirming the TV starlet sustained “cuts and bruises.”.
Witnesses claim the clash, outside the Oliver Brown cafe, erupted around 12noon between a “group of girls” with shouts of “she’s got a knife.”
A witness took to Facebook claiming Vernesa had sustained “knife wounds requiring stitches” however these reports have yet to be verified.
It is understood police attended the scene and her alleged attackers are former friends involved in a “personal vendetta” against the beauty therapist.
A Ten spokeswoman declined to comment.
Vernesa’s Shire cohort Sophie, who lives and works in the Rhodes area, is believed to have been with her friend.
The duo have been targeted on social media, with reports their private mobile phone numbers were made public by “an ex-girlfriend.”
