The Shire: Beckaa A No Show In Court
Beckaa from The Shire kept her priorities straight by missing a court case because she was in hospital having surgery. No news on what surgery she was having however I will be keeping an eagle eye out for new photos of her.
The St George Leader reported:
The Shire’s Beckaa was not able to face court for a traffic-related offence today because she was recovering from surgery, her barrister said.Rebecca Ann Noun, 20, known as Beckaa on Channel Ten’s part-reality show was due to appear at Sutherland Local Court after she was charged with driving a high-performance vehicle while on her P-plates in April.
Court documents show Ms Noun, of Caringbah, was pulled over in Burraneer Bay Road at 10.50am on April 11 and later charged with not complying with her P1/P2 high performance vehicle restriction.
A letter read out at court today explained Ms Noun was recovering from surgery and not well enough to appear in court.
Her matter was adjourned for mention on September 10.
A Ten spokesman said the traffic incident happened before Ms Noun was involved in The Shire production and had not been as a result of anything that happened in the series.
“She was apparently driving her mother’s car, an Audi, and was pulled over when police saw the P-plates,” the spokesperson said.
“We only started filming with Beckaa a few weeks ago; that was a long time beforehand.”
The spokesman also expressed surprise that Ms Noun’s case was being heard today.
