Big Brother – Dinner, Alcohol And Some Underlying Tension Meant It Was Game On

Big Brother Confidential kicked off tonight in the 10pm timeslot and it was pretty sanitised. Seventy per cent of the material could have possibly been screened in the 7pm timeslot.

Interestingly enough they showed nothing of Estelle and Ryan and if they are sticking them in their own room, as they are doing tonight, what is the point if they are not going to show anything.

I would have preferred an extra half an hour on the bitch fest that was going on in the lounge room on the 7.00pm show. What a cracker it was.

The three nominated housemates had to cook a meal for the others as well as ensure there were interesting topics of conversation, add in a bit of alcohol and it was game on.

Angie was in the firing line, and so she should be as she has been slagging everybody off, and it also appears the gloves are off with her, Estelle and Sarah.

Sarah accused Angie of not going up to Charne to comfort her after she was nominated however quite a few other people did not either. Sarah did not criticise the boys for this.

Estelle is also not very popular with Zoe saying she cannot stand the way she talks over people.

Ben is great value, however he better be careful about the game he is playing as he appeared to be the go-between for Estelle and Angie. Maybe Angie is just difficult because of her up bringing, she said she left home at fifteen.

Charne looks like she is struggling in the house and is becoming more closed off. With the edit they are giving her it will be surprising if she is not eliminated.

It would be great if we saw more of Ray and his ego as he is not getting much air time, nor is George or Zoe.

Big Brother is on weeknights at 7pm and BB Confidential is on Wednesday nights at 10pm. Both shows are on NINE.

Loved last nights late show! It needs to be on every night.

I liked it too, hope they do more of it as we get to know the housemates better.
Everyone should have gone to comfort Charne, so I don’t know why Angie was singled out in particular.
Ray and George are flying under the radar at the moment.

why the fuck would you go comfort charne, half the house voted for her so obviously dont like her. Are you all the type of people that speak shit behinds some one back and then go at as though you like them. grow up charne is a grown woman and can take care of herself.

Is ‘grow up’ youth-speak for ‘have no empathy’? My understanding is that having no empathy is not a problem for many nowadays. Back in the day, we left home before our forties. So I have a different understanding of what growing up might indicate.

James, just try to imagine for one moment how it would feel to be Charne, trapped in a house with people who don’t like you, and to be told you were given 22 points! ( they never used to say how many points each housemates were given in the old show ).
Would it hurt to go up to Charne and commiserate with her for a moment?
Don’t be so unkind James, the youth of today can be selfish and think only of themselves.

Now the tears are flowing, Layla, Charne, Angie Sarah, even Estelle – here we go.
My 2cents worth? Angie is an attention seeker and stuck a bit in victim mode.
Agree with James, why would you vote someone out then go and comfort them?
The only ones providing interest currently are Michael and Benjamin.

If I were in the house, Charne would shit me to tears. She doesn’t really make an effort to get to know others and is self-confessed to be “closed off” to everyone, so no, I probably wouldn’t go comfort her. She a grown woman, she can deal with it.
And what’s with Sarah taking the mummy role? It’s great to hear her speaking out for once, but really? Who made you the boss?
I’m sick of Estelle and thinks she’s totally up herself and she does speak over the top of everyone else, so I get Zoe and Angie on that point.
Loved last nights 7pm show, haven’t watched the 10pm one yet, but if 70% is sanitised why would I bother?

Well certainly enjoyed the 7pm show – so much going on.

I think Angie, fuelled with a few beers, really took the criticism to heart….

Charne appears to be very fragile and not sure her mental state up to staying in the house for much longer.

Agree RR, Benjamin playing the mediator could get him into trouble in the long run.

While there are people in the house that don’t know what the word “gracious” means, it’s a little unrealistic to expect them act that way.

Who died and made Stacey Dorm Mother? Why is she telling people off for not comforting people who were voted? These people know each other 10 days, maybe it’s not so tragic that 3 of these strangers have been voted off in a game everyone knew would happen.

And this stupidity from the oldest contestant in the house! She and her vegan ways need to be voted out quicksmart.

Bolders, that would be Sarah playing Mother Goose rather than Stacey to the nominated housemates. I think Sarah will probably cop some nomination heat for sticking her nose in on the massively unpopular Charne’s behalf.

I think Benjamin is the eldest housemate, followed by Charne and Sarah, who are both about thirty if I remember right.

Last nights Confidential was weak as water. As was mentioned could have been shown in the 7.30 time slot. What is up with Channel 9. This show appears to be aimed at 12 year olds.
Out of 24 hours of editing surely they could come up with better conversations than some of the ones than what we are being subjected to.

Bolders – Sarah, not Stacey. I thought it was nice that one of the older girls stood up for Charne since the younger girls are so wrapped up in themselves. It wouldn’tve hurt to show a little more compassion.

Thank You Stacey and planb , couldn’t agree more with you!
If all the younger girls go it would be no great loss, they are only in there to find fame and fortune, not genuine people at all. A few older people would have been a better mixture in the house for everyone concerned, after all, thats what we were expecting after all the shuffling promos we were constantly getting.

Dammit I can’t be expected to pay attention to these lemmings’ names. It gets in the way of a good rant.
