When Did Poh Turn Into Australia’s Version Of Jamie Oliver?
Poh from Masterchef appears to have turned into Australia’s version of Jamie Oliver and no I am not talking about gaining a gut and getting snarked for it by Curtis Stone, she is using her fame for good rather than evil.
She has a new show called Poh’s Kitchen Lends a Hand starting on ABC1 on 11 September at 8pm.
See the promo below but she highlighting people are disadvantaged and using food as the common denominator. She talks about the aim of the program on ABC blog here.
She is not the only Masterchef alumni kicking goals Aaron Harvie, Alana Lowes and Skye Craig have new TV shows. Both will be on TEN. TV Tonight reports Alana and Skye are teaming up with Scotty McCrae for a travel food show called A Taste of Travel, and Aaron’s is called Love To Share.
Both will start on the 15 September with A Taste of Travel on at 3.30pm with Love To Share following at 4.00pm. It appears none of them will be doing much cooking.
What I do know is Skye and Alana got the better show as they will be travelling throughout Australia and the world, whereas Aaron filmed his in a Melbourne studio.
And finally Amina from series four of Masterchef has joined Woman’s Weekly. Woo hoo!
