Kourtney Kardashian Gives Birth On TV And THAT Is Just One Reason Their Show Is So Popular
In honour of Kim Kardashian and Kanye arriving in Australia today to promote E! channel and Slim Fast I watched a Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s episode last night.
They really are the maestros of the Celebrity Reality TV genre. The episode was captivating and they really do put a lot of their life on screen. Take note Lara Bingle who refused to have her private life on screen.
Last night was the story line was the family visiting the grand mother in San Diego. It had been quite sometime since their last trip there and also Kourtney scoping out some alternate birthing options.
Whoever is working on their story plot lines is doing a very good job. It should be noted that Ryan Seacrest productions are behind the brand.
The Kardashian girls are likeable and Khloe Kardashian has a very dry sense of humour.
We probably are not getting their whole life on screen but it feels like it. Kourtney’s partner Scott does not hide the fact that he is a tool. Also they are smart enough to groom new cast members slowly into the series. The two younger sister’s Kendall and Kylie are getting bigger roles, and Kourtney’s first born Mason is on the screen a lot.
In a move that has caused some controversy Kourtney gave birth to her second child, Penelope, on the season finale of the show. It showed her pulling the baby out of her. I am not sure what the fuss is all about as we see more on One Born Every Minute. But like anything a Kardashian does it created a lot of media noise.
Here is the clip below:
And if it does seem a bit weird that the whole family were there this appears to be standard practice for them.
Khloe revealed she had been at Kylie and Kendall’s births and at that point in time the Kardashian reality empire was years away.
They have set the standard of this sub-genre of reality shows including their business like way they use the show as a vehicle for their merchandise and endorsement deals.w Many other celebrities are trying to emulate their success.
Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s can be seen on E! on Tuesday at 8.30pm.
