Project Runway Australia Starts Tonight Monday 8 October on Arena TV
Project Runway Australia one of the best locally made reality TV show of an international format starts tonight on Arena TV, Monday 8 October at 8.30pm.
The fourth season of Project Runway Australia has had a bit of a shake up from last year with Megan Gale still the host, as is Alex Perry as the mentor but they have brought in two new judges designer, Peter Morrissey and former fashion director of Harpers Bazaar Claudia Navone.
The contestants are:
Natalie Cook – Graduate of the Whitehouse Institute and worked at Glassons.
Sasha-Rose Hartley – TAFE graduate here is a link to some of her designs
Tristan Melle – Head of design at Forever New
Jordan Court – Recent fashion graduate.
Alexandra Ovijach – Can follow on Twitter here and would love to launch her own label
Mladen Milicich – a menswear designer with own label.

As usual they have some high end guest judges – Toni Maticevski, Alexandra and Genevieve Smart of Ginger & Smart, Fleur Wood and Dannii Minogue of Project D.
The special guest judge tonight is uber-model Miranda Kerr.
The winner will receive a KIA Rio valued at over $20,000, a six page fashion feature in Madison magazine and the opportunity to present their own show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2013 collections in Sydney. They will also receive for their show a Tresemme professional stylist team and Tresemme product to the value of $10,000 plus $50,000 in cash and product from Rathdowne Fabrics and Birch Haberdashery and Craft.
This year they have amped up the social media interaction where viewers can have their say during the show and see their responses displayed instantly onscreen. Simply hit “like” on either the Project Runway Australia or Arena Facebook page and then click the app icon to start a conversation while the show is on TV.
It will be interesting to see how that works.
