Big Brother – The Final Three Will Duke It Out

Layla, Estelle and Benjamin have made it to the final of Big Brother and conveniently there is one per cent splitting all three. Basically this is anyones race and it will ensure people will be voting madly.

Layla clearly gained a lot of votes overnight as she made up a lot of ground, something that Zoe and Michael did not as their percentage basically stayed the same and they were evicted.

What was good was that they had plenty of time on stage reviewing their time in the house.

However first before the evictions the drama of the Estelle and Michael hook up continued.

Zoe was upset about it. Obviously Estelle and Michael are not responsible for Zoe’s feelings however why hurt the girl if you are adamant nothing is going to occur on the outside as Michael told Benjamin. In fact he appeared angry at Zoe’s reaction to the hook up, like it was wrecking his time in the house. Estelle was a bit the same telling Big Brother her hook up with Michael wasΒ the driving force behind nasty comments again, flung her way.

“I am really mindful about other peoples feelings they don’t seem to care about mine.” said Estelle. “Such a short time in here we should be able to enjoy it.” She does need to own that she was not mindful of Zoe’s feelings, nor was Michael so not sure what the point was in hurting a friend over a a little fling that has no legs in the outside world.

Zoe was hilarious when she told Estelle to go back to Ryan and to stop chasing her “husband”. However Estelle and Zoe sorted it out when they were sent to the nice corner by Big Brother to talk about it.

Zoe told Estelle that she thought she knew how she felt about Michael. Estelle offered to back off, and Zoe said not to bother as her feelings were minmal. It should be noted that after that chat Estelle was back in her own bed. Did she stay there? Who knows. Well Big Brother does.

Zoe was the first of the two to be eliminated and they hit her with clips of her infatuation with Michael. She was also pretty circumspect about Estelle saying she would be friends with her on the outside. Interesting some of the audience booed when Estelle’s name was mentioned, which confirms my you’re either for her or against Estelle theory.

Zoe also said that it is hard to live in there and she said the challenge was not being able to choose your mates. Then it was Michael’s turn to be evicted. Sonia did ask whether he hooked up with Estelle out of strategy which of course he denied.

Interesting he said he wanted Benjamin to win, considering he had given Estelle dialogue from The Notebook when lying in bed with her. Hmm looks like strategy to me.

Michael polarised people, yes he was funny, particularly tonight when he was doing his Big Brother impersonation, but also he was slightly irritating on stage. His eye was always on the prize either the money or the post Big Brother career. It will be interesting to see if he gets it.

Also unless Layla and Estelle hook up there will be no macking on in the house for the next two days.

Big Brother on NINE Weeknights at 7.00pm.

Yay Melinda! :)

BB@198There’s a lot more to Layla: “giggle NOO Big Brother, I’m scared”. Saying “robbish”. Giant false eyelashes and giant curlers.
George got to know Lala a bit and when asked how she would react to getting the superpower he said, “She will pretend not to want it, but she will like it”.

There was a segment on the WIN morning show (the one with Sonia) about why the hms lost weight, and got fit and healthy in the house. Then they showed Lala in bed eating TimTams and they said, “Except for Layla.” So TimTams. That’s another thing.

@ Jane – what comes after BB? Well we will all jump to MKR, or MC Professional, or whatever interesting reality show rears its head. My preference is for ones that jump the shark early – much more blogging fun that way. So fear not – there is blog life after BB. So stay with us and enjoy the fun!

Btw – thanks RR for having us during BB – this is just the best reality blogging site :)

I just don’t believe Estelle. I think her multiple personalities exist because she tries to be many people she is not. It’s probably not to win the game, it’s because she doesn’t know who she is herself. So she tries so hard that it comes across to me as insincere.

Jane @ 203, yes I saw that too, everyone except Layla lost weight and they said it would catch up with her one day. Interesting!
If you like Survivor, its on tonight and there will be a recap on it from JStar in a couple of days.

Estelle dosnt have multiple personalities as i keep hearing. Humans r not 1 dimentional. We r multi faceted creatures thats what makes us so wonderful thank god for people like Estelle that make us think and wonder about each other. Thats what we r doing here today i was just watching bb and heard layla called an aussie princess. I dnt think so. Backstabbing whinger comes more to mind. Could they b any more cowardly towards Estelle. Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi.

@ 207: You’re probably right. Judging by how one-dimensional most people are on this very blog, I wouldn’t be surprised that they’re all voting against Estelle because they’re envious of her.

The booing of Estelle was not organized. People who were in the crowd have confirmed this. It is the public’s feelings, most probably over Estelle’s behaviour with Michael, and the pain she caused Zoe and then pretended she did not know about, flaunting her fake romance with him.

The twitter picture alleging Ben’s boyfriend ‘organized’ this booing was a fake, concocted by teamestelle on facebook.

Ben’s boyfriend has confirmed this via his real twitter account.

You can read about it on BBB, in the ‘crowd booing Estelle’ thread in the forums on the main page.

wow, there is so much bull shit being said about estelle by a sad few.
its just like there are 2 bens -one inside the house and one outside the house…
ben did a great job at marshalling his troops to rise up and hate various h/m’s….calling angie ‘frank’ when she drank…etc, etc…
and now theres ben #2 …the boyfriend – with all the same moves.
his facebook tactics are in the same vein. i cant believe some of u people are falling for it.
digging thru old tweets and years old skating accounts just to justify hating someone.
the evidence is how estelle has acted over the last 3 months.she hasnt hurt anybody – just hurt some egos because she has managed to survive so long.
stop being gullible sheep …..

go esTelle!!!

Yes apparently its the tweens and teens inciting alot of the hatred through social media and as usual its taking on a life of its own. Ive spoken with a few to try and get some insight and they have admitted its just something that starts small then grows totally out of control very quickly until they all forget what they were on about 5 mins later when a new cause or person comes along to take sides on. Which i have noticed can happen on a daily basis. Shame they can actually cause so much damage and never fully realise just what they’re doing.

Nathan 1 u r a wonderful supporter of our girl Estelle. X Actually there have been many wonderful warm supporters here. I hope she knows that booing means nothing and that there r people that truely care for her welfare.

Outright Winner
Singles Only. New house mates will be added as they enter the Big Brother house.

Latest odds. Leaving Ste-llla behind. @ 205 – i agree. if you can’t ‘read’ someone over a short time and ‘know’ what their personality type is, and character and have a few adjectives to describe them – it usually means: they don’t know themselves either. Which makes it difficult to get to know someone. Ste-llla didn’t come across as a ‘solid’ character like a lot of the other housemates (in fact all of them).

lol…thanks Nardigras πŸ˜€

15 Nathan 1 { 11.06.12 at 10:35 pm }

tnx rapunzel – i dont usually get so crazy about one person…but this season has kinda gotten to me,not sure why…
estelle is not really the type of girl i would hang out with.
but she has really managed to tip the scales and make people hate her…..reminds me a tiny bit of sarah-marie from the first season.

SuzieKue@204. Thanks for the info, the raps and the chats.

AP Hubby and I always watch survivor. Thankfully we both love reality TV. We both get mad at the villains.

There has been a lot of comments about why Estele hooked up with Michael. Has anyone heard of Stockholm syndrome? It is applied to people who fall in love with their kidnappers or torturers. The individual has to be isolated from their loved ones or their support network, over time they are constantly told they are no good till they believe it, the result is the individual craves any kind of acknowledgement from their torturer or in this case their tormentor Michael and when their tormentor shows the slightest bit of kindness the individual responds with gratitude and in this case cug cugs. What happened in the BB house is a perfect sampling of what is happening all over Austalia in work places and schools and small towns. Mob rules

i think michael could have have won if he didnt try his ‘estelle hook up’…
he’s gotta live with that….lol

20 Georgie { 11.08.12 at 6:15 am }

Lorraine I did see Stockholm syndrome mentioned by someone else recently but I didn’t know what it meant. Thanks for the explanation and I agree, it sounds plausible.
