The Voice Australia – Darren McMullen To Return As Host
Darren McMullen looks like he will be returning to be the host The Voice Australia next year. After rumours earlier this year that Darren’s tenure on the show may have ended, he and his manager all but confirmed fans will see him in the role in 2013.
This is good news as he gives the traditional hosting role on these reality talent programs some much needed edge.
The Voice Australia host last week was attending public relations agency Eckfactor’s 10th birthday celebrations.
We talked about how he has managed to have an entertainment career in three countries, the United Kingdom, Australia and the USA which is pretty unique. After much consideration he said he was probably most famous in the UK due to his work there on Minute To Win It, The Magicians, and the Olympic show, The Beat Of London. This Olympic show was apparently screened into forty-eight countries.
He also talked about the possible of some future online collaborations which could see him find a whole new audience and fan base.
At this stage there is still no word on who will be replacing Keith Urban as the judge on the show. Chances are they will be Australian.
