The Voice Australia – Ricky Martin The Favourite To Replace Keith, But Other Names In The Mix

Ricky Martin may not be just swivelling his hips but also The Voice Australia’s swivelling red chair. The Sunday Telegraph reports he is the favourite to replace Keith Urban who is now a judge on American Idol.

However there were other performers names in the mix and one thing was none were Australian.

A source in the US says that NINE representatives were having difficulty in finding a replacement due to so many being already signed up to other reality TV programs.

The names that are in the mix were Ricky Martin, Florence from Florence and The Machine, KD Lang, and Chris Isaak, with the latino Ricky Martin the front runner with his higher name recognition then the others.

Who out of these names would you like to see as judge on The Voice Australia?

Why not Ted Nugent, instead?
Surely he’s preparing to emigrate as part of the great post-Obama exodus that Donald Trump and that Kristen Neel girl will be leading?

Take it away, Teddy…you N.R.A. legend you…

They know just where to go

I Hope It’s Chris Isaak – perv factor only.

Out of the names listed, I’d go with Chris Isaak too. Although Ricky would be a good addition. Now they just need to replace Delta, and then I’ll actually watch the Voice.

Ricky would be worth watching for but I agree with Stacey, no Delta please, replace her with Marcia Hines. We have to have at least one Australian.

Ricky Please!

Yes, NO Delta! She is sooooooo boring! Marcia would be better but she was on idol for years. Maybe someone like Vanessa Amorosi, as she is opinionated and gutsy, could keep the show interesting!

And Ricky would be great!

Marica Hines….LOL why not bring back Mark Holden also & make the show really credible!

11 Culinary Boner { 11.13.12 at 11:51 am }

Marcia? No way.
I demand Raver commence a campaign for Deni Hines instead.

With the right amount of low-level ‘niggling’ on and off set, the melt-down possibilities of this psycho-star would make for compelling viewing.

Hell, I’d even put up with the crap singing – Deni’s included.

Boner, loving the Deni idea.
Violets, I think Vanessa Amorosi is a great suggestion
How about Altiyan Childs? (hee hee)

13 Trent { 11.13.12 at 1:12 pm }

I think someone with quirk factor like Florence & the machine, Kate Miller Heidke or SIA

14 brain dead dave { 11.13.12 at 1:15 pm }

Deni Hines is an inspired choice.
