Overseas Stars Wanted For Local Reality TV Shows
It appears the Australian networks think that they need international stars for local reality TV shows to make them a hit.
Jut recently we have seen Ricky Martin signed up to join The Voice coaching team, leaving Delta Goodrem the only judge flying the Aussie flag.
Now there are more rumours surrounding judges for the revamped Australia’s Got Talent on NINE.
Adelaide Now are reporting that Victoria Beckham, Lily Allen, and Sharon Osbourne names are being bandied about.
There have been rumours that David Beckham might sign up with an Australian football team and if this the case Victoria Beckham may be interested, though she might want to become a bit more animated if she does take up the gig.
Sharon Osbourne has been on Britain’s and America’s Got Talent and is highly entertaining, but if she signs it would be highly unlikely that we would see Danni Minogue at the judges table as they have an ongoing feud. Though it would be sensational TV if this was the case.
I seriously doubt Lily Allen will be the new judge as she is pregnant with her second child however filming might fit in with the new mother.
The same article reports that AGT will only have one overseas judge with the others being Australian.
Also Celebrity Apprentice is allegedly trying to get Mel B’s husband Stephen Belafonte to sign up for the show. He probably would be a good signing as if he is anything like his wife he will know how to create drama. Also at least he won’t have other commitments so won’t have to be fired at a certain stage of the show as The Hoff was. (Source: Daily Telegraph).
Who would you like to see on Australia’s Got Talent and Celebrity Apprentice?
