Nigella’s New Show Starts on ABC on Thursday 3 January

Nigella Lawson fans will be pleased to hear that her new cooking show Nigellisima starts on Thursday 3 January on the ABC at 8.30pm.

As the title suggests the cooking show has an Italian theme.

Her aim show the viewer how to make Italian foodΒ using ingredients available in any supermarket.

Apparently the recipes are quick and easy to get on the table. Hopefully they are also nutritious as an article in Good Food says a study has shown that some of the most popular tv chefs meals are not very nutritious. Yes Jamie Oliver and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s you were both mentioned.

I’ll be tuning in for a perv.
Hope the newly svelte Nigella is still a worthy lust object and hasn’t also become ‘lost to me’ like Ricki Lee Coulter.
The supermarket Italian theme seems a bit lame I have to add.

How quick and easy is it to get Nigella on the table, I wonder?

Who could resist her spread?

Wow, very tasty indeed. If George from Masterchef was here I’m sure he’d be salivating. πŸ˜›

I feel she is not following her true self – she doesn’t sound well or happy – she really is a spiritual girl – resist the marketers and get back to you!!

I watched this tonight, it was actually the first time I’ve seen her show. She’s very sexy and most of the food looked quite good, but as someone who is very into Italian cuisine I was suprised the first thing she DIDNT show us how to make was fresh pasta! And I couldn’t help looking at the backdrop of Italy more than her food, whilst mum and I got into a random argument about the origin of cheesecake. Mum guessed Scandanavian, I assumed French. Turns out its Greek.
