Next Stop Hollywood – Starts on ABC1 on Tuesday at 9.30pm
Next Stop Hollywood is a reality show following Australian actors in Los Angeles auditioning during pilot season and it starts on ABC this week.
This six part series looks quite interesting and less manipulated then other reality shows. Some people are calling it observational documentary which means high end reality….
It was meant to screen last year but considering the pilot season is about to start again in LA in January it’s screening is timely.
The Australian yesterday gave it a great review and really tells you what it is about.
Chances are very few of these protagonists in the series will make it big as ninety-eight percent of actors who go to Hollywood won’t fulfil their dreams.
The cast is:
Craig Anderson, 35 (NSW); Michael Clarke-Tokely, 22 (VIC); Alycia Debnam-Carey, 18 (NSW); HaiHa Le, 29 (VIC); Penelope Mitchell, 22 (VIC); and Luke Pegler, 30 (NSW)
Some have representation from agents or managers and others don’t. It will be interesting to see what it is like for unknown actors trying to crack it in the USA.
Next Stop Hollywood starts on ABC1 on Tuesday 8 January at 9.30pm.
