The Voice’s Mahalia Barnes Shows You Don’t Need To Win To Get Endorsements

Mahalia Barnes has shown that being on a reality show does improve your prospects. Today it was announced she will be the face of Weight Watchers.

She has been a member since October 2012 so don’t expect to see her in her signature caftan’s anymore. Mahalia shows that you don’t have to win or even get that far on a reality show to make it a worthwhile venture.

She also released and album last year with Prinnie Stevens.

Mahalia was eliminated early on in the battle rounds but she looks like she is doing better then some of the other Voice alumni. Being Jimmy Barnes daughter may have also helped. It will be interesting to see if she turns up on another reality TV show in the future.

I know a guy who knocked Jimmy Barnes out cold with one punch.

Jimmy was performing in Adelaide and threw an empty bottle of booze into the crowd, hitting a young woman in the head. What a legend.

Fittingly, the young woman’s boyfriend got onto the stage and belted him into the middle of next week. That stopped him screeching and hollering.

I’ve never been able to like the screeching of Jimmy Barnes, don’t know why he’s so popular, its just one big loud noise.
Hope his daughter has success with weight watchers though.

Anyone know what the other Voice contestants are up to? I’m guessing not a lot.

JB isn’t in my collection either. A bit bogan music.

I apologise if you like JB. I do like some daggy music ….old Elvis Blue Hawaii.

Have never been able to understand the Aussie fascination for Jimmy Barnes. He’s a bogan from the worst part of Glasgow and sings like a banshee – well not sing, but screech.

As you can tell, I’m not a fan. But I did see the interview with his daughter and she seems to be a lovely person.
