My kids love this show – I think they just like Manu. Well, I do :)

Yes I will admit I don’t mind Pete and Manu. They seem a lot less pretentious and arrogant than the MC chefs. Pete and Manu manage to be polite and yet still MKR is good viewing.

Can’t wait for this to start, thank god its not on Channel 9 as we would only see the episodes late at night or whenever Channel 9 feels like it!

@ 3: Or we’d have another bully winning a reality TV show!

@4, I was referring to how Channel 9 treat the Survivor fans, they don’t give a crap but yes I agree with you that a bully should never have been allowed to win Big Brother.

Looks to be even better cast than last year, ie no sourpuss Kiwis.

Pete and Manu look smart, too. …..unlike the stale, lardarsed jowl conveyances judging/leering on Ma$terchef.

Some of the contestants seem to be rather up themselves which is going to make for some great TV and even better blogging!

Aw, no Kiwi team this year. :(

Manu might look smart bdd, but don’t forget his drunken, cross-network relations with George C last year!

Yes Georgie, looking smart and acting smart is two different things. I know there isn’t enough booze in the world to make me contemplate even simulating giving George Calombaris that kind of service.

I see Jowl$y was back on The Project tonight, literally bigger than ever.

I missed Jowlsy but it’s on again at 11pm so I’ll try and stay awake.

12 Isabel { 01.16.13 at 8:28 am }

Good grief, BDD, surely you don’t watch that rubbish!

13 Daisy { 01.16.13 at 11:15 am }

Isabel, it’s pretty much ALL rubbish, We know that. It’s sort of like eatig a bag of chips.

14 Gabby { 01.16.13 at 11:49 am }

Can’t wait for it to start and then we can pick (literally) our way through the contestants and the food. I am sure we will find things good and bad to say about it all. I can only imagine what this site will be like, as I have never been part of one of your cooking show blogs but I have heard all about them. Bring it on!

15 Georgie { 01.16.13 at 11:52 am }

Agree Gabby, really looking forward to this and hoping for a nice array of personalities. The good, the bad and the ugly.

16 Gabby { 01.16.13 at 12:03 pm }

Georgie, I like it, the good, the bad and the ugly, I am sure we will get all of them.

I’m not a regular Project viewer, Isabel …at the moment in the evenings I’m waging war against the lorikeets that are trying to eat my grapes and peaches in the garden.

My idea of rubbish is Sunrise and Today when it comes to news/ infotainment.
