It makes sense to film both group at the same time. That is why all the teams know each other.

Good to have it officially confirmed that the contestants don’t get to really decide what they cook on my MKR. Although the contestants have suggested the meals it’s the producers who decide what they will cook. What would have been good is if Manu had clarified if it was the menu as was submitted or if it’s dishes from different menus creating the menu they cook. If it is dishes from from different menus, it could explain why there often appear to be 3 very time consuming dishes. The producers choose them to make it harder and therefore increase chances of things going wrong- better drama and ratings.
