Survivor Caramoan – Fans V Favourites – Are We Seeing The Unravelling Of Brandon Hantz?

It has been a strong start to the twenty sixth series of Survivor, but one of the downsides is the favourites tribe seem to be getting far more air time than the fans tribe.

This is probably to be expected as seeing old favourites is a good way of hooking people in to watch.

One person who does not appear to have changed much since his last time on the show is Brandon Hantz who still has a hard time containing his emotions. It is like he is unravelling onscreen.

After he returned from tribal council he unleashed on Dawn about siding with the Andrea alliance. He told her she was going to lose. What he may not realise is he is in the one without the numbers now. It was ferocity of the attack was uncalled for and had her in tears. It is unclear whether he said the same things to Cochran who had been in the same alliance.

After this Brandon said he was going to go Russell Hantz style that is start tearing things up. Β He said he was feeling his blood running through his veins.

Then fast forward to the next day he was contrite.Cochran likened him to a psychopath however Special Agent Phillip thought he was a narcissist, which is a bit pot calling kettle black.

Phillip said he was CEO or more like his ego was CEO of Stealth Are UsΒ which was the name of his alliances and he gave them all nick names. Malcolm was the enforcer, Andrea was the eliminator. They all appeared to humour him.

However Brandon was not in good humour when Phillip told him he was only middle management so could only be told certain things. Brandon headed back to the others on the tribe saying how pissed off he was and then he sulked. Next week he apparently unleashes again talking about urinating in the food and water. Classy!

Favourites easily won the immunity/reward challenge with a far better strategy of sharing the diving under water. Afterwards it was revealed the fans had wasted time discussing how to appoint roles as there was no leaders and that is why it was so disorganised.

In the fans tribe the hottie four alliance was still feeling confident prior to tribal with Reynolds thinking an attack on Shemar might swing more votes against him. He told him his behaviour is unacceptable. Β It doesn’t matter how annoying he is if he is in the alliance with the numbers he is safe. Apparently he is lazy and does nothing around camp. Sherri had decided quickly that she wanted a solid alliance with Shemar. Probably knowing if it comes down to a jury vote in the end she will win. This is probably why Special Agent Phil will go far in the game this series and Brandon.

Reynold does not seem the brightest tool in the shed, well he did find the immunity idol quickly, but then did not conceal it properly and played it at tribal that night. In the end Allie was eliminated from the cool kid alliance, the reason given was she was the only ones out of the four who had been strategising.

No question about it: Brandon’s on the express train to crazy town.

Anyone with that much ink has to be suffering from lead poisoning.

I had forgotten Brandon in the line-up for Survivor; mixed nuts, with Agent Pink Undies, Tarzan, the Dreadlock guy from last season who said, “GOD WHY??????”, and the numerous others that live somewhere over the rainbow and beyond the grip of reality.

I don’t see why he couldn’t have offered a different excuse for the bulge.

Am loving the favourites! All playing hard straight off the bat, which cannot be said for the “cool group” who seem to think because try are popular (to themselves) and good looking means they have the power. What schmucks….6 obviously out weighs 4, good on the rest of the tribe getting it together! So often we see “outcasts” have numbers but never do anything about it. As for Shamar, can’t believe no-one, not even himself, mentioned how well he did in the challenge! If it wasn’t for him pulling the girls out and in from the water they would have been so much further behind. Who cares if you are lazy at camp if you help win challenges? Although I did feel for the girl who said she always thought the same until she was out there with him, haha!

Oh, and am pleased for the guy who found the immunity idol purely so we can see some eye candy stick around πŸ˜‰

Allie, allie who?
Shemar will make good Survivor TV and probably win the fans favourite at the end!

If they don’t roast the lazy pig on a spit first.

Yeah, Brandon is doing his uncle proud. I thought it was hilarious when Reynold was sprung with the immunity idol. Note to future Survivor contestants, bring looser pants!!!!!

Reynold only said he was going to play the Hidden Immunity Idol, but then he put it back in his too tight pants.

I hope this season has more than three crazy guys shouting and issuing threats…

the show needs more Brenda! she and erik are getting overlooked in the favourites tribe. i don’t even know the names or faces of all the girls in the fans tribe apart from sherri and laura.

we need less crazy people who don’t know how to play. i don’t know what jury member is gonna vote for shamar or phillip if they make into the final 2/3 – which they probably will at this rate.

I would like to see people amke it to the final 3 based on their strengths not their flaws. I love to watch strong, fair players like Ozzie, Malcom and that fireman who won a few years ago, compete.
