Mel B Ditches The X Factor To Join Australia’s Got Talent

It is going to get confusing this year with the reality TV talent shows, now Mel B has signed on to be a judge on Australia’s Got Talent.

For the past two years she has been a judge on The X Factor here, but had ditched it to go and be a judge on America’s Got Talent and now has also signed up for the Australian version of the show.

The Daily Telegraphreports Mel B saying “will be a perfect fit for me and a great opportunity to continue to spend time in Australia and discover more of the exceptional talent you have an abundance of (here).”

Expect more names to be announced soon, and my pick is Chris Isaak for one of the talent shows as he is out here at the moment possibly chatting to either AGT or The X Factor.

With Mel B signing on  to Australia’s Got Talent on Channel Nine, this will mean she won’t be on Dancing With The Stars again this year. Though it has not even been announced whether DWTS will go ahead.

Australia’s Got Talent on NINE later this year.

I guess this will be an easier gig for her as there isn’t as much work involved as in the mentor role on The X.Factor.
I thought we’d seen the last of her but she must really like being in Australia.
Hope DWTS doesn’t return, its had its day and MelB didn’t seem to be suited in the host role to me.

Agree A.P – after 12 seasons of DWTS, enough is enough.

I’d like to see Brian Mannix offered a judges seat on one of the talent shows. Not sure he could take it all seriously, but his lighter humour would make it interesting.

So glad she won’t be back on Dancing With The Stars, couldn’t stand her on it last year. Hopefully they will get an Aussie to do it. Never watched AGT on 7 and won’t bother with it on 9 either. Thought they would have tried to get Dannii Minogue to stay with it, I had heard that they wanted her, but none of the others.

4 Australia’s Got Talent – Dawn French Announced As A Judge | reality ravings { 03.18.13 at 8:56 pm }

[…] Got Talent. This quite a coup and will be an entertaining addition to the show.  She will join Mel B who was announced yesterday as a judge on the show moving from The X Factor Australia to Australia’s Got […]

And now Dawn French!!!!! WTF What the hell does she even know about singing? Another English person. What the hell is wrong with Aussies? It’s getting ridiculous. Haven’t been able to stand her since her stupid Coles ads, found her so irritating. So glad I don’t watch this show.

So much for the Visa issues that were supposedly forcing mel to leave the country.

And now the latest today is Kyle Sandilands. Wow, they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel to get him. Would have thought he would have been the last person they would have wanted considering his antics in the past.
