The Voice Starts Sunday 7 April at 6.30pm

One of the highest rating shows of 2012, The Voice, is back on Sunday April 7 at 6.30pm, it will then continue Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7.00pm.

This time former judges Seal, Delta Goodrem, and Joel Madden will be joined by Ricky Martin.  Darren McMullen will continue to be hot and Faustina Agolley will also return backstage with the social media . Quite frankly I hope they improve that bit of proceedings.

Expect the talent to be good as performers will have seen how huge the show was last year and want to get a bit of the action.

Returning as The Voice host is resident larrikin Darren McMullen, along with backstage host Faustina Agolley who will keep up with all the action and viewer feedback via social media.

Thousands of talented singers from around Australia have applied, but each coach must select only 14 for their team during the Blind Auditions, the first of four stages of competition. Then it’s on to the Battle phase, followed by the Showdowns, and finally the Live performance shows that will see Australia’s best undiscovered artist crowned winner of The Voice 2013.

What happened to last year’s “winner” Karise Eden?

Down the toilet.

I saw her name in the line-up for the Byron Bay Bluesfest this Easter long weekend bdd. Other more notable names appearing are Santana, Taj Mahal, Robert Plant, Steve Miller Band, Rodriguez, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon. So she should be able to find an opportunity amongst that lot.

Oh Georgie, I wish I could go see Rodriguez. Santana and SM Band would be good live too. Any of you lot going to that festival?

Can people stop voting with their heart and start voting with their head? What’s the point of letting underdogs with emotional issues or lack of desire win?

Look at Karise Eden, Casey Donovan, Kate DeAraugo, Natalie Gauci and of course – THE ULTIMATE POSTER CHILD for why winners should not be picked by the public – ALTIYAN CHILDS.
All 3 tv stations lost out with these winners. Although Altiyan is meant to be traveling to The USA any day now and is going to be huge in the music industry, just ask his fanatical fans on his silly FB page.

what rubbish. He won’t go anywhere, do anything, release anything. Drop kick

He’s Not The Messiah, He’s Just A Very Naughty Boy – I would chuck the useless Jack Vidgen in with that lot too. I agree, people need to start voting on who they would actually buy records from instead of a fucking sob story. At least we don’t have to put up with Idol anymore! Natalie Gauci has to be the absolute worst of the winners, though. Good voice, but I don’t think she actually ever released a song. They’ve all fallen by the wayside. Even Shannon Noll was hammered when he sang at the opening of our local Bunnings store. 😛

I just read on The Telegraph site that Karise Eden is cash strapped and has put the ford focus up for sale that she won on the show.
Also she refused to talk to media at the Byron Bay Bluesfest recently and has been forced to take to facebook to let fans know she’s still around.
Producers want someone more outgoing with the public to win this year to save embarrassment according to the report.
Yes, winning The Voice does wonders for your career doesn’t it?

A.P – The $100,000 prize money didn’t see the year out then? Follow up reality shows for Karise could include –
*Learning to Live on a Budget
*Spin it Out
*Don’t Blow It All at Once
*How to Change Your Life with $100,000
