Make Millions By Using The Reality TV Formula

Just recently it was revealed that jake and Elle have already got plans for an ice cream range and a cookbook after My Kitchen Rules finishes. Also last year’s winner of The X Factor has going to have a range with costume jeweller chain Diva. They are going to try and cash in on their reality TV fame as others before them.

An article I wrote on Make Millions By Using the Reality TV Formula is now up on News.com.au highlighting the Australian reality stars that are doing just that and what the forumula is.

Good for you, Michelle Bridges ~ but you’re still doing a shitty gig at We$tfield in Adealide this Saturday arvo. You can have your lucre from lard lifestyle.

Enjoyed the read, RR.

Great article RR! Congrats. Wonder what product Tatts & Braces might promote? I thought at first it might be acid face peels or laxatives, but finally decided that they would be ideal ambassadors for Preparation H. Keeerist!!! they give everyone else a pain in the arse, so the least they can do is push the cure. They could also use it on their crow’s feet (refer my rap earlier this week for cause of crow’s feet)…….

A great read thanks RR. I wonder has anyone done the maths to get a picture of the chances of success. Like how many people a year appear on reality shows (in Australia say) and how many go on to make a decent living from it?

You have to be memorable from the start, for at least one reason. Marion was very popular for being a lovely gracious person and a great cook so people recognised her face on the products. I wonder if Sohpia and Ashlee’s combined skills of being unfriendly and super competitive together with average cooking ability will be enough to launch either of them into a successful career.

Reality Ravings – the celeb salaries in the article you wrote are really wrong. Especially Jessica Simpson – she doesn’t own the master license to her name so the money made by everything you see with ‘Jessica Simpson’ on it actually goes to Vince Camuto. Someone worth 100 million wouldn’t need to do weight watchers commercials.

You also should have done more digging on the skinny girl sale payout terms + Bethenny’s business partner.

The Kardashians are doing well, but a lot of that has to do with nepotism. A sizable chunk of their business deals are with companies that are invested in by their dads old lawyer friends. The most public example is Robert Shapiro + Shoe dazzle.

A bit surprised by the route you took with this. =/
