Mel B’s Judgement Has Some Interesting Findings

Mel B has now been prevented from working on Australia’s Got Talent by the court with the injunction sort by SEVEN kept in place.

Many times during the judgement paper here, the judge found Mel B’s husband Stephen Belafonte’s evidence not to be as solid or truthful as Seven executive Brad Lyon’s.

Also it was interesting that there appeared to be issues between Daniel Macpherson and Mel B on Dancing With the Stars and that appeared to be why she was not keen to work on DWTS this year.

In what would appear to be unethical move Stephen Belafonte asked SEVEN to sponsor their nanny because she had overstayed her visa, however he wanted her on the application as a business manager. Clearly he has not heard on migration fraud.

Was it about money or was it about not being able to get the father’s of her kids to permit them to come to Australia for that length of time? Who knows but it appears SEVEN Network were did the right thing by them and it was thrown back in their face. It was the right decision by the court.

Geri Halliwell’s name continues to be bandied around as a replacement.

How I love that a nanny can be a business manager.

I think any prospective network producer thinking of hiring Mel B should make reading the judgment a mandatory requirement. This is a publicly accessible document and it raises questions about the value of doing business with these two.

It’s a pity as I lined Mel B on x factor. Her husband definitely messed up the dealings with 7, and dies nit seem like a trustworthy businessman. That is the problem with ‘talent managers’, they often don’t have either business experience or knowledge and often get to manage someones careers only because they are connected or related to them and not because they are the best manager that the star could have. It’s worst when parents take on that role. I don’t that we will see MelB on Australian program again. Very disappointing behaviour by her husband!

Well I won’t miss them. She follows the money anyway.
