Charlotte Dawson Not Quitting Media – Contract Was Not Renewed
Just recently Australia’s Next Top Model judge Charlotte Dawson said she was quitting the media saying she wanted to get out as it was negative and nasty.
She told the Herald Sun:
“I’m tired of the anxiety that comes with working in media, especially as a woman, because you’re scrutinised daily, and abused about the way you look.
“I’m ageing and I’m accepting that. The graceful thing, the dignified thing, is to walk away.”
However she said in a radio interview this week she said her leaving the industry was false but her Foxtel contract had ended and she was still open to opportunities from other networks.
She said she is a PR and marketing consultant to a real estate agency not a real estate agent. (Source: The West)
Maybe she might do the salsa on next year’s Dancing With The Stars.
It will be highly unlikely there will be a series of Australia’s Next Top Model in 2014 as Foxtel have commissioned The Face, the modelling reality show headed by Naomi Campbell. Applications are now open.
