Embarrassing Bodies Australia Premieres October 29 On Lifestyle You
Considering last week a man with giant testicles was a rating hit on television, then chances are people are going to want to check out the new Embarrassing Bodies Down Under.
There may not be giant testes but there are testicular cysts, inverted nipples, and ‘bingo wings’ and at a media event I was told there was some guy who was constantly erect. It will be interesting to see how they show that case study.
The local production of Embarrassing Bodies is premiering on Tuesday 29 October at 9.30pm on Lifestyle You. There will be eight episodes.
The star of the UK version Dr Christian Jessen but he will play more a host/guest role as he is not a registered medical officer in Australia. The Australian cast are Dr Ginni Mansberg, Dr Sam Hay and Dr Brad McKay. All very easy on the eye.
They will tackle the obscure and usually gross medical conditions in an attempt to dispel myths while also spreading important health messages.
I think most of us will be watching for the voyeur aspect of it but hey if we get educated well that is a bonus.
In episode one there is a man suffering from pilonidal sinus or “two bum holes”; a young woman with an abnormally high-pitched voice; an older woman with excessive skin flaking; and a man whose quest to be hair free has left him with multiple sebaceous cysts on his scrotum.
