Masterchef’s Ben Milbourne Gives Us A Look At His Daily Diet

Ben MilbourneEach week in the Sun-Herald magazine there is a columnn called My Day On A Plate. Each week a personality outlines what they have eaten on a certain day. Usually the person being showcased outlines a diet full of lean meats and green vegetables with Pete Evan’s activated almonds diet going viral.  The worst food you ever see is a latte with full fat milk or a couple of pieces of dark chocolate as a treat.

It was refreshing to see former Masterchef contestant Ben Milbourne actually give a diet that seemed real. He kicked off with  Nutri-Grain sprinkled on Milo. Lunch was a Chicken Caesar Wrap with a bag of mixed lollies and a Coke Zero and he ended the day with three choc-chip cookies.

Ben continues to cook and has released a cookbook called Mexican Craving. Currently it is $27.95 on Booktopia. Sometimes these books turn up quite cheap at Big W.

The book apparently has easy-to-follow recipes to enable people to cook Mexican at home. If you have bought the book let us knonw what you think.

If I was in a pantry , I could easily mistake him for a vegetable.

How’d I know I would find you here, abc?! How are you going?

This is just a one off day, surely? I doubt he would eat a pack of lollies everyday. I agree it’s refreshing to see a more ‘realistic’ diet, as in he didn’t just choose his best day to show off what a bad-ass organic activated super food eater he is (says the girl who eats handfuls of kale with tuna for lunch.. mmm.. delicious…)

Hey elizaaaa, i am very good. How about you? I am sure ben does not eat bag of lollies every day. Could u explain what u meant after that. Organic eater?
