Dancing With The Stars – A Shock Winner?

There were a couple of shocks on Dancing With The Stars last night with Tina Arena the first of the three finalists to be eliminated.

This had the judges and viewers looking like this:

Was this the same as Ben from Big Brother where people thought she would win and did not bother voting. This left two Channel SEVEN stars Rhiannon Fish and Cosentino.

At this stage everybody thought the Home and Away starlet had the win in the bag and then surprisingly Cosentino was announced the winner.

Cosentino from the first episode showed he had rhythm and was very focussed. This paid off as well as showing how popular the magician is with viewers.

Consentino has been performing around Aust while on DWTS. His shows were very popular and he will have many fans voting for him. That saved him from the elimination after the Cha cha. Little Fish is leaving Home and Away and didn’t get that many fans voting?

The standard this year is so good that we have seen some great dances right from the start.

I still prefer the first freestyle dance that Consentino performed. It was breathtaking.

Last night, Tina was the better dancer.

Tina should have won.. It was no surprise 2 channel 7 stars were the top 2

I was disappointed Tina didn’t win, but having said that, the final 3 couples were all great and any of them would have been deserving winners.

A very enjoyable season.

To mark the 10 year anniversary of the show they should do an All Stars after the series 14 run next year.

Technically Tina may have been the best but all three brought something fantastic in different ways. Little Fish was fabulous.
Con has a good sense of his own style and stayed true to himself.
I hope they can continue to get good dancers next season.

And wouldn’t it be nice to see some good cooks in the cooking shows. It’s can’t be that Australia doesn’t have any.

When Tina was eliminated, it pretty much gave away the winner because the only possible way for Cosentino to go through and Tina to go home was if she had the lowest viewer votes and he had the highest. Since the lines don’t reopen, that wasn’t going to change before the winner was announced. I was disappointed with him winning because it should’ve been one of the girls. None of the dancing in the final show counted for anything in the end, it was all decided purely due to the viewer votes.

I refused to watch this season because of that horrible cow from MKR. First season i’ve missed. But was going for Cosentino and Tina. Really BIG fan of both. I saw the winner’s anouncment (just before Body of Proof) Well done to both of them.
