Reality Tidbits – Friday Night

Charlotte Dawson’s memorial service was held in Sydney today. For the full rundown SMH has the story.

Kelly from My Kitchen Rules says she is taking the piss and we will get to know an love her. Also she does realise she is a polarising personality but did not realise they would come across as such a villain. (Source: News.com.au)

*Spoiler Alert* Apparently the new bachelor Juan Pablo is an asshole apart from his homophobic remarks but a contestant on the show Andi Dorfman quit because he is an arsehole. Now rumour has it she will be the next Bachelorette. (Source: News.com.au)

Sunrise should get Mark Latham and Jeff Kennett on more often, unfortunately for Sam Armytage she was collateral damage. (Source: News.com.au)

James Mathison is a breakfast radio troll, for some reason that makes me like him more. (Source: news.com.au)

Tori Spelling’s husband tells her to get help for her spending issues. (Source: DListed)

Apparently Naomi Campbell has turned into a major scrag on the second season of The Face in the US, maybe she is just tired after doing the UK and Aussie versions. (Source: Dlisted)

Phil Keoghan the host of The Amazing Race was on REDDIT answering questions and here is a summary where he reveals he was once on the pit stop mat for 19 hours. (Source: Reality Blurred)

Fame messes you up says Chloe Lattanzi but makes sure she chronicles her life on social media. Does she understand the meaning of irony? (Source: Daily Mail)

Chloe Lattanzi is only famous for being messed up.

I think Kelly is definitely deliberately acting up to the camera.
Haven’t you ever played pool and said, “Eat my dust, sucker”.
It’s in the rules isn’t it ?

Tis true, unfortunately, Georgie.

Naw, what’s not to love about ol’ Googly Eyes Mathison?

And from what I’ve heard and read over the years, Naomi Campbell has always behaved like a complete piece of work.

Poor Chloe. I remember seeing her on Mike Walsh or similar when she was about 4 and she was being very naughty and Olivia was smiling at her so proudly. I thought “Oh oh” then.

I’m the lady in the shop who is biting her lip thinking “Do not give that screaming child a Bertie Beetle”.

Anyone seen a review of Housewives of Melbourne?

I am not a fan of screaming bratty kids who are ill disciplined either Daisy. Especially when they run havoc on your workplace!

Sounds like Kelly is in damage control.

Too late girl, you convinced me it was for real. Especially when you revealed to the media a few weeks ago, that you and Chloe were just being yourselves.

Eliza, I am less a fan of the parents. It’s not the kids job to train themselves.

But my absolute worst, is parents who swear at their kids and use belittling words.

Apparently invoking the words “Charlotte Dawson”, “victim” and “cyber-bullying” is now an irrefutable way of defending the indefensible bashing and bullying of an almost blind old bloke on public transport by a couple of bogan scrags- http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/national/bus-attack-accused-are-huge-victims-says-mitchell-watmough-brother-of-larna-watmough/story-fnii5v6u-1226844159761

From the article…
““I have watched as cyber bullying has been taken to a whole new level towards my sister and my family after the loss of the late Charlotte Dawson committing suicide over cyber bullying and everyone declaring we should lock up cyber bullies,’’ he wrote on Facebook.”

Who’d’ve thunk it. And why hasn’t Michael Williamson got the smarts to try a similar defence for defrauding union members.

Just when I thought society couldn’t get any stoopider.

13 Georgie { 03.04.14 at 8:47 am }

Not only that CB, but unfortunately, it also takes the focus off the real issue – depression. Charlotte’s addiction to social media was a symptom of her illness, not the cause.

14 Littlepetal { 03.04.14 at 9:56 am }

CB, Wiliamson did try that. He said he was suicidal.

15 Culinary Boner { 03.04.14 at 10:47 am }

But did he say he was being cyber-bullied to within an inch of life, Littlepetal?

16 Culinary Boner { 03.04.14 at 11:13 am }

Littlepetal, just read the details about Williamson, rather than just a scan of the headlines.

And it’s even more disturbing… in terms of attempting to deny responsibility by presenting yourself as a ‘victim’.

Appears it’s all the fault of some vile priest rummaging around young Michael’s private bits. And hence he just couldn’t help but be launched inexorably on a sit-down, long-lunch career as a habitual white collar criminal. Silly me.

17 brain dead dave { 03.04.14 at 11:21 am }

Surely Craig Thomson and Peter Slipper can jump on this train of sad straw clutchers before the shit hits the fan.

18 Culinary Boner { 03.04.14 at 11:37 am }

Yep, bdd.
Thoms0n, Slipper and Williamson are all blameless because apparently some dodgy Indonesian official planted their consciences in a boogie board bag sometime back in 2004.

19 Littlepetal { 03.04.14 at 11:58 am }

They all didn’t do anything wrong. If the media and public have left them alone, they would have survived
