Masterchef Australia – Thank God Byron Did Not Apply For The Voice And Other Top 24 Contestant Tidbits
Thanks to the sleuthing skills of Little Petal it appear Byron not only scrubs boat decks in the Caribbean he also wants to be an actor. Byron who just scraped into the top 24 and his management card reveals he has already been an extra on Neighbours and maybe his time on Masterchef might help him achieve his ambitions to get a speaking part.
Thankfully he did not apply for The Voice Australia as can been seen in this You Tube clip that he probably wishes he could make vanish into thin air.
Two things we do know is that he has a gorgeous girlfriend and he will be very popular with the young female viewers as he is eye candy.
Normally some backstories are not that compelling, but after reading about Amy Shield’s I now know why she was sobbing as she dished up her scallops. The 37 year old was diagnosed with cervical cancer at 28 years of age and now has been trying to get pregnant through IVF. Apparently just before she auditioned she was told another round of IVF was unsuccessful and then she was also made redundant at work. So not a great week for her and getting in the top 24 must have been like winning the lottery. (Source: TV WEEK).
Cecilia Vuong appears have a little macaron business going. Check her out on Facebook.
When Tash Shan the 27 year old social media manager from Canberra said she like to photograph food you knew there was a foodblog out there with her name on it and Little Petal found it. It is A Kitchen Cat and it looks great. I hope she gets to make some of her Malaysian dishes on the show.
Masterchef Australia on tonight at 7.30pm on TEN.
