So You Think You Can Dance Australia – Season 3 – The Gold Coast Auditions

It is Season Three of So You Think You Can Dance Australia, and the first audition were at the Gold Coast, but first a few comments on the episode?
- Is Jason Coleman thinking of pitching for Dr Phil type show as he was giving all sorts of advice and affirmations that were completely unrelated to dancing;
- If there is an Australian version ever made of A Picture of Dorian Gray I think Matt Lee should have the lead, as each year he continues to never age and I don’t think he is having any cosmetic intervention;
- The same cannot be said abou the other three, Natalie Bassingthwaites boobs and lips appear to have expanded since last year. Jason appears to have started botox but stopped dying his hair, it is looking very grey, but it suits him. Bonnie who is in great shape looks like she has had eye surgery in the last 12 months.
- Speaking of Bonnie I am still trying to work out the relevance of her, and for the first half of the episode she barely got any of her judging comments on air. I still wish they would put Kelly Abbey on the panel.
- And lastly the $50 million can the show be as good as last year? I hope so.
The first audition was at the Gold Coast, and now people from Sydney and other metropolitan areas have realised it is better to audition outside of Sydney and Melbourne where there are stronger performers. You have a better chance of getting a ticket to the top 100.
The first person to audition was James aka “The hitman”. He was a popper, and I really liked him particularly his unusual music choice of “Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton. After Matt Lee pontificated whether James needed 12 months of technical training, Jason decided to stamp his authority on the judging panel and hand him a ticket to Sydney.
The Talia Fowler influence is coming through, with a lot of ballet dancers auditioning this year. By the way Talia must not have taken the job with the San Francisco dance company, as she will now be playing the lead role in Fame the stage version not that Fox 8 school musical version.
Robbie an 18 year old who has only been training in ballet for 2 years was good, and has talent, but I thought he had some technical weaknesses.
Bonnie Lythgoe still gets the stating the bleeding obvious award when she talked about the Nina Simone song he chose to audition to. “It’s called ‘Feeling Good’” she said. I think he knows that Bonnie. He did get a ticket straight to Sydney.
Tamsin a 31 year old musical theatre performer. I had always thought 30 was the cut off, but she did have a really cool light sabre. For someone who has worked in musical theatre her dancing was pretty ordinary, so maybe she is just in her local amateur musical society. Obviously she was the joke audition.
Next was Doug from Perth who is married to Stacey an American girl is waiting for his green card. There was a montage of her crying over Skype to him, and to be honest once he had his top off I knew why she was missing him. He was super buffed. He was a good dancer too.
Matt Lee who had looked pretty happy watching his audition said “We love men being masculine [on the show] as you are gonna have to throw girls around,”. Rhys Borbridge will be surprised to hear that.
Jason Coleman then put his Dr Phil hat on and gave Doug some relationship advice about not spending too much time away from his wife as it can kill the relationship. Isn’t Jason currently single? But maybe he has had a long distance relationship that went belly up.
Doug was given a ticket straight to Sydney with instructions to only dance with his shirt off (ok that is what I was hoping they would say).
Renee a 20 year old who the judges liked but were querying why she was not getting any professional work.
“I think you are a ridiculously talented dancer,” said Matt Lee.
I hate that question that Jason asks “Whose Renee?” How do you answer a question like that?
“I have always been the dancer but not the one that looks good enough to be one,” she says. Personally I did not see anything wrong with her looks, but maybe Natalie can help her out with some plastic surgery advice if that is what she wants.
Jason slipping on his Dr Phil hat said “You have to find the pride and confidence and come to Sydney”.
Liam a B-boy who has auditioned previously in a salsa shirt, I thought had a lot of charisma. He has trained for the show, and was given the opportunity to go through to choreography. After a bit of mind fucking by Jason Coleman, Liam was given a ticket through to Sydney.
Gaz who was in the same crew as Liam was extremely athletic, but I am not sure he can go beyond hip hop. He was quite cute, and was sent to choreography. He got through to the top 100. I will be surprised to see him go too far.
Zoe an 18 year old from Adelaide got told off about face pulling, but was allowed to start her audition again. She was sent to choreography, and delivered and got to Sydney.
Jesse a 20 year old indigenous guy whose mother had never seen him dance was a stunning performer. He has only been dancing for two years. Also he was a complete sweetie. He had me tearing up with the story of his life.
Matt Lee summed it up when he said “That was beautiful”. he was given a ticket straight to Sydney.
Phillippe is a hip hop dancer who made it to the top 40 last year. He got a ticket straight to Sydney. He may be one of the ones that gets through to the top 20.
Carly from Sydney who stuffed up her audition last year did a sexy cutsie routine. She went straight to sydney. I actually did not think it was a fabulous as the judges did.
Jamie from Canberra a B girl was not great, but I wonder what they would do with a larger girl who was really good, as one of the big things in the routines in the top 20 shows are the lifts. Matt Lee thought she was fantastic, and they put her through to the choreography. and blow me down she got to Sydney.
Heath was a 22 year old who broke his foot last year when he was in the top 40, and he thought he had unfinished business to complete. He is a beautiful dancer, and I hope he gets into the top 20 this year.
Talia from Sydney auditioned with her friend Maddie, and really if they had auditioned in Sydney they would not have even got through to the choreography round.
Maddie was criticised for overdancing but was given a second chance in the choreography round. Talia also danced frantically, and was also sent to choreography.
Matt Lee said “We are going to give you a chance, and see what you are like doing decent choreography.” Um who is doing the choreography at the Gold Coast? You guessed it Matt.
Neither Talia and Maddie got through.
Next episode on Tuesday at 8pm is Sydney, so there will be some seriously good dancers, and also the good new is Forever is back.

Reality TV Is Back And Is Going To Be An Important Aspect Of The Ratings Race
Ok we can finally stop watching Serena Williams and Roger Federer whacking balls over the net or see Ponting try and make hundred, real TV is coming back on with the ratings starting next week and reality TV is going to be a huge part of the stations ratings strategy.
Channel Ten is firing off their salvos early with both The Biggest Loser, and So You Think You Can Dance Australia premiering tonight. The Biggest Loser is on at 6.30pm with new host Hayley Lewis, and I doubt the child porn scandal where they had to excise a fat busting couple will have a detrimental effect on ratings. (See previous blog post on Deryck Ward the contestant who is up on child porn charges.).
So You Think You Can Dance Australia’s third season kicks off at 7.30pm with the auditions. There is not changes to the line up with host Natalie Bassingthwaite returning as host, and Jason Coleman, Matt Lee, and Bonnie Lythgoe.
They say there is going to be some changes this season to the format, to try and avoid viewer fatigue with the series. However the preview of the series looks like there are going to be some seriously good dancers this year.
Channel Seven is the first of the stations to premier a brand spanking new reality TV series with My Kitchen Rules. They have been spending a bucket load on publicity so they will not be very happy if it does not deliver results. However my prediction is that Manu Feidel will be the Matt Preston of 2010.
My Kitchen Rules premiers Monday 1 February at 7.30pm.
I will be doing recaps on My Kitchen Rules, and So You Think You Can Dance Australia, as well as regular updates on The Biggest Loser.

Channel Ten – Announce Premiere Dates For The Biggest Loser and So You Think Can Dance Australia

With all the pre-ratings season build up Channel Ten are the first to announce when some of their high rating shows will commence. And the good news is we don’t have to wait very long.
The third season of So You Think You Can Dance Australia premieres on Sunday 31 January at 7.30pm with a 90 minute show, and then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night. Once it gets to the top 20 I presume it will get back to the usual Sunday night/Monday night shows.
The Biggest Loser also premieres on the 31st January at 6.30pm, it will be on six nights a week. Hayley Lewis is the new host of the show this year, and should add a different dynamic. Again it will retain the couples format.
Channel Ten will be launching their new website for SYTYCD Au http://dance.ten.com.au/ and there is a sneak peak of The Biggest Loser at the official website http://www.thebiggestloser.com.au/. Channel Ten again proves it is ahead of the pack in using the web to enhance the viewers experience of their shows.

Happy New Year And Reality TV For The Beginning of 2010
Happy New Year dear readers, I wish you all a good one for 2010. Sorry about by lack of posts over the Christmas/New Year period, however I took a bit of a break and this coincided with reading the third book of the Stieg Larrson series.
Anyway it is now back to business as usual. And what about what we can expect on reality TV at the beginning of 2010?
Survivor Samoa continues to be shown on Channel 9 on Tuesday nights at 7.30pm, and if you are not watching it you are missing out on seeing one of the true characters from the show, misogynistic Russell. And yes the recaps will be back Tuesday night.
Top Chef Las Vegas has only a few more weeks on Arena on Monday nights at 8.30pm, and for those who care the spunky Voltaggio brothers are still in the contest. In fact I must be imagining it but both Nigella Lawson and host Padma Lakshmi perked up when Michael Voltaggio brought in the room service breakfast in last weeks quick fire challenge.
American Idol commences on Fox 8, fasttracked from the US on Wednesday the 13 January. This year there will be no Paula Abdul as she has been replaced by Ellen De Generes, which should bring a different dynamic to the show. However, we won’t see her until after the audition shows, until then special guests will be on the judging panel like Posh Spice.
Channel 7 is hoping to get a good start to the year with their “Masterchef Australia” type show, called My Kitchen Rules. The new series will travel the country with the aim of finding Australia’s best home-cooking team. The teams-of-two will do battle from their own kitchens in each state. One Sydney food blogger on Twitter claimed she had been approached to audition for the show, but declined. Manu Feidel and Pete Evans are the judges.
Channel Ten has already started the pre-publicity for their high rating reality TV shows, The Biggest Loser, and So You Think You Can Dance Australia. Hayley Lewis, is the new Loser host replacing sacked Ajay Rochester. And even though the cast hasn’t changed Natalie Bassingthwaite in an interview last year foreshadowed some surprises to keep the show fresh.
To whet the appetite here is a preview of the 2010 season of So You Think You Can Dance Australia. It looks great, and it is good to see that Jason Gilkison and Kelley Abbey are involved this year. I seem to be having trouble embedding it into my blog, but click on the link and it will take you through to clip (SYTYCD Australia 2010 Preview))
The Contender is coming to a finish on Fox 8, I watched a couple of episodes, but have to confess I am not a fan of boxing. However it was interesting that there were claims that the show was rigged. (Source Blacktown Advocate.).
Arena TV are also commencing a few series in January that look particularly crappy/awesome. These are Miami Social, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and New York Prep (apparently a real life Gossip Girl).
Also Tyra Banks will be back on Fox 8 with her new series of America’s Next Top Model in January. I think this series is the one where they allowed shorter girls to apply.
Anyway it looks like a great start to the reality TV and I will continue to keep you as informed as possible.

Reality TV Stars – Where Are They Now – From The Popular Shows
TV Week, God bless them, this week did a huge story on where reality stars are now, see my previous blog posts on Long forgotten reality shows and Big Brother contestants.
This blog post is about a where are they now from the more popular reality TV shows. Again a big thanks to TV Week.
So You Think You Can Dance:
Jack Chambers (Season 1) –
The show’s first-ever winner has been based in New York for nearly six months and has found his talents in demand.
“I’m loving it here!” he says. “I’ve been teaching dance at the prestigious Joffrey Ballet School, as well as teaching and choreographing for studios in New Jersey.”
He’s also been doing a few performances including dancing for upcoming pop star Killian Wells. “I’m still waiting for a Broadway audition to come my way, though!” he admits.
Jack says the most exciting experience he’s had in New York – other than celebrating his 21st birthday – was meeting actor Ben Stiller at a film premiere. “My friend and Ben were roommates when they were younger, so we were Ben’s guests that night. I also met actress Famke Janssen and Entourage’s Adrian Grenier!” he says.
As for romance, Jack says it’s “non-existent” at the moment. “I’ve been too focused on actually settling in and finding work,” he explains.
For now, the dancer is planning to stay in New York. “I will always come back to Australia to visit family and friends or for work reasons,” he says. “but New York is where I am based now.”
Kate Wormald (Season 1)
Kate’s wedding to high school sweetheart Michael in May was attended by her SYTYCDA friends. “You couldn’t get anyone off the dance floor!” she laughs. As well as starting motion-capture work on the film Happy Feet 2 , Kate will soon be back on TV in a new Norsca ad.
Rhys Borbridge (Season 1)
Despite having an international hit with his song “Hot Summer”, Rhys is now turning his focus back to dance. he made the final cut in Cirque du Soleil’s recent dancing auditions in Sydney. “My hope is that they’ll send me to Las Vegas for a show called Zumanity,” he says.
Australia’s Got Talent
Smokin’ Joe Robinson (Season 2)
The guitar virtuoso, now 18, is currently performing solo concerts around Europe. He’ll be coming home to spend Christmas with his family but next year will be back in the US recording another album.”there are so many opportunities over there I need to go and chase,” he says.
Bonnie Anderson (Season 1)
Just 12 when she won Australia’s Got Talent, Bonnie is now 15 and in Year 9. She’s been writing songs, learning piano and guitar and playing some “chilled” gigs in cafes around Melbourne. “I’m hoping to maybe do an EP next year,” she says.
Australia’s Next Top Model
Gemma Sanderson (Season 1)
Season three winner Alice Burdeau is usually touted as the big success story of Australia’s Next Top Model, but Gemma Sanderson is the quiet achiever. Since winning the first season of the show, Gemma, who’s signed to Chic, has been working full time as a model and is currently based in London.
She filmed a TV ad with star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, shot the worldwide cover of Stuff magazine and done catwalk shows for the Victoria Beckham Collection.
“Besides Sydney, London has been my favourite market to work in,” Gemma reports. “The clients are friendlier, less critical, more laidback and welcoming than in New York or Milan. I’ve met some amazing people. Spending the day with Victoria Beckham and flying in a helicopter with her was possibly one of the most surreal experiences of my life, but London is all about doing things you never would anywhere else!”
Jordan Loukas (Season 3)
Despite finishing third in ANTM, Jordan has turned her back on modelling and is now focusing on a career as a TV presenter. “It was such a great place for me to start, but I’m probably not a great model,” she admits. “I’m better when I speak, maybe because I have an opinion.”
As well as doing a presenter’s course at NIDA, Jordan is gaining practical experience as the face of entertainment website The Fix. “I do interviews for them every week,” she says.
She’s also made the top three of the Channel [V] presenter search.
As well, Jordan is about to make her movie debut in the low-budget thriller Next Door To the Velinsky’s. “I’m the main guy’s wife – she cheats on him,” she says. “I’d like to try some more acting but I’m loving presenting right now.”
For the past two years Jordan has been dating another well-know TV face, Burgess Abernethy from H2O Just Add Water .
“My little sister is his biggest fan, so she was stoked,” she laughs.
Eboni Stocks (Season 2)
According to her agent at Scene Model Management, the ANTM winner is currently with her family in Tasmania and is “not actively pursuing modelling at the moment”.
Cassi Van Den Dungen (Season 5)
The ANTM runner-up, who made headlines by knocking back a contract with Chic in New York, recently signed to Cameron’s Models in Melbourne, but heragent says she’s “press shy”.
Clare Venema (Season 5)
After finishing third, the Adelaide schoolgirl was signed by Chic. She has a major Impulse campaign and is off to Japan or New York to model. “But I wouldn’t mind studying law,” she says.
Project Runway Australia
Helen Manuell (Season 1)
Helen gave birth to her second child in late October this year – and three days later was back at work, overseeing a photo shoot! “Life’s too short to miss out on things,” says the fashion designer and single parent.
Baby Chloe is a sister for Sophie, seven. “I look at Chloe and I think, ‘Thank God I had her’,” Helen says. “It makes it complete. I wanted two girls.”
Since going on Project Runway, Helen has expanded her business, developing a ready-to-wear collection, Helen Manuell, in addition to her couture label, Manuell & Moore.
She couldn’t be happier about the exposure that came with being on the show. “The timing was fantastic,” she says. “Thank God I did it with this economic climate, because we’re just sitting here watching colleagues close their businesses left, right and centre, which is a bit hard. But we’re still going.”
Julie Grbac (Season 1)
Since winning, Juli has launched a second line of clothing and secured stockists across Australia. She also married her fiance, Paul, in a huge ceremony in August this year, attended by several Project Runway designers. “Married life is great,” she says. “Starting a family? You never know.”
Leigh Buchanan (Season 1)
Leigh has started his own label, making wedding dresses, but is still working for Easton Pearson. “So I have no spare time,” he says. Despite becoming famous through the show, he’s still “very much” single. “It’s mainly people’s mums that love me, not late-30s eligible bachelors,” he laughs.
Australian Idol
Bobby Flynn (Season 4)
Bobby Flynn says the birth of his daughter Indigo las year was truly life-changing. “I guess it’s a little stereotypical, but it’s the best thing that’s happened to me,” he says. “The important things come into focus.”
Recently, Bobby was the support act for US singer Toni Childs on her national tour. “She’s a lot of fun,” he reports. He hasn’t been doing much “heavy-duty touring” over the past year, however, spending more time at his Melbourne home with Indigo and his partner Jade. “I’ve just been getting into the rhythm of family life, and working on a new record,” he reveals.
Bobby’s debut album, Out Front was released early last year, and he’s hoping his new one will be out next year.
“I don’t feel like I have to rush with this one,” he says. ” I’m waiting until the songs are really there. I’ve been working with a few different producers and a heap of different co-writers, just getting it really redefined.”
Chris Murphy (Season 4)
Chris is currently co-hosting an evening radio show in Perth. He’s also working on a duets album, featuring Adam Brand, Hank Marvin – and Courtney Murphy. “I couldn’t do a duets album without singing with my brother,” he laughs.
My Restaurant Rules
Ash Huish and Amanda Thomas (Season 1)
Season one’s winning restaurant, Perth’s Room Nineteen, closed in 2005. Ash is now working back on the wharf while Amanda looks after the pair’s “gorgeous girls”, Caitlyn, nearly three, and Summer, one. “We may revisit the restaurant industry once they’ve grown up,” Amanda says.
John and Justine Hall (Season 2)
Adelaide’s Greedy Goose was doing so well that the Hall’s opened a second restaurant. “It basically sent us broke,” Justine says. The Greedy Goose shut in March this year and the pair now manage the St Kilda Beach Hotel. They’ve had two daughters since the show – Cicly, three, and Sophie, one.
Evan Hansimikali and Bella Serventi (Season 2)
One of the losing restaurants from season two, on the other hand, is still in operation. Young Sydney duo Evan and Bella relocated Pink Salt in 2006 from its original beachside spot at Manly to its current home at glamorous Double Bay – and the pair are happy to report that it’s flourishing.

Channel Ten Announce Their 2010 Programming – Australian Idol Is Still On It
Well if Australian Idol is dead someone has not told the Channel Ten publicity team, as it has been included in the 2010 program lineup.
However I suspect if they were thinking of killing it off they would not want to do that at time where they want positive press for there next year’s viewing schedule. They did not want Australian Idol axed headline, to overshadow some the new shows they will be launching.
One of the new shows will be Junior Masterchef where kids (I think 9-12 year olds) will cooking for the shows judges George Calombaris and Matt Preston. Let’s hope they are not diluting the brand to much. However it would appear Celebrity Masterchef will not be returning.
Channel Ten however do have their usual high quality of reality TV scheduled with The Biggest Loser, So You Think You Can Dance Australia, and MasterChef Australia.
All of these will be supported by Ten’s superior digital online sites. Something the other channels would do well to emulate.

Is Sonia Kruger Having A Mini Meltdown Or Are The Weekly Gossip Mags Just Desperate For A Yarn?
Women’s Day’s cover story this week was about Dancing With The Stars hostess Sonia Kruger having a meltdown in her life. Well Sonia Kruger states this is all bollocks. She responded to the article on her breakfast radio program, and this article outlines what she said.
Interview with Talia Winner Of So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
Here is an inteview with Talia Fowler in Who Mag where she talks about her performance on the US So You Think You Can Dance finale. She said she picked the choreographer Sonya Tayeh for her originality, and admits her rehearsal time was cut short due to visa issues.
If you have not seen the performance you can watch it here.
Oh Come On Guys We Don’t Want To See Susan Boyle Hospitalised Again.
Apparently Robin Williams has been approached to play Britian’s Got Talent runner up Susan Boyle in a movie. News.com.au reports there is going to be a movie made of her life, and that producers are considering a male for the part of the singer. Now if this does not send her back to a psych hospital nothing will.

So You Think You Can Dance – Auditions and Katie Holmes
This Friday on our TV screens we will see the 100th episode of So You Think You Can Dance, which is the one that Katie Holmes performs on. I think in the US this attracted mixed reviews, but really who cares it will be a must see show.
If you cannot wait until next Friday to watch it here it is.
If they ever need a new lead for Chicago the Musical she shows she would be able to do it.
Katie has also been taking dance lessons at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance in Melbourne. Source Sunday Telegraph
The Australian version of the show has announced it’s audition dates for Season Three.
Go to the official site for more details. Good luck.

So You Think You Can Dance – Season 5 – Top 20
The opening group number popped literally. It was a hip hop number that was fast and feisty, they did not say who the choreographer was.
I must have been in a semi-coma for the audition, and Las Vegas episodes as I recognised less than 10 of the top 20. Tonight the judges were the usual Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy with special guest Adam Shankman. I like Adam he is a bundle of enthusiasm and personality. However, hate the attempted comedic crap between Nigel and Mary.
First up were Jeanine and Phillip. Their choreographer’s were NapTab (Tabitha and Napoleon), which meant they were doing a hip hop routine. I always wonder whether NapTab ever get sick of each other considering they work and live together, maybe they give new meaning to the term co-dependent.
The routine was about a couple having to deal with anger issues before going to bed. I know some people think NapTab are the second coming in hop hop choreography, but I find them a bit dull. Except for the fantastic sci-fi opening routine they did this season for So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
However they danced it well and in unison. Also I must confess Phillip is an early favourite of mine. The judges loved it. Mary seemed particularly excitable this first episode.
Asuka and Vitolio were doing a broadway routine choreographed by Tyce DiOrio. Asuka has ballet and latin ballroom so if she can get a fan base could go far. Really loved these two dancers, however was not blown away by the routine, probably to slapstick for me.
One of the reasons I like Adam Shankman as a judge was he manages to articulate what he is thinking very well. He said “because it followed the previous emotional routine, this character performance felt a little artificial.”
Mary was disappointed, thought they played it safe. Nigel thought there personalities were not in it.
Karla and Johnathan – Cha Cha with choreographer with Tony Meredith to the music of Lady Gaga. They both looked like they were having such a great time, even though it was not technically excellant. This pair have likeability. And the teenage girls are going to go crazy over Johnathan as he is the David Archuleta of the competition.
I was a bit disturbed when Mary Murphy said she like her Cha Cha rough, “if it is not rough it is not fun.” I just don’t think of Mary in that way.
Randi and Evan danced a jazz number choreographed by Tyce Diorio.
Randi has auditioned three times and finally got through. Evan has personality and charisma, but he is short. They both danced beautifully. Evan is one to watch he reminds me a little tiny bit of Benji Schwimmer.
Paris and Tony got a hip hop routine with Napoleon and Tabitha. Does anyone else think Nap Tab routines are similar? It did not suit Tony’s hip hop style at all. All rather dull. As Mary said it will not be memorable.
Caitlin and Jason were dancing a Bollywood number by Miguel .
SYTYCD Australia has a lot to answer for introducing Bollywood to the show, and now the US show has picked it up. Confession Caitlin is not my favourite dancer, in fact I think she does more “tricks” then actual dance. However her gymnastic’s background really helped in this routine her hand stand was amazing. As Adam Shankman said “You guys rocked!”
Janette and Brandon dancing the foxtrot to a LouisVan Amstel. Brandon has a huge fan base already if he does not make top 10 I will be gobsmacked. This was a nice routine well danced with their personalities coming through, but no mind blowing moments.
Mary is the only women in Hollywood to admit to botox. She also loved the routine
Ashley and Kupono danced a jazz routine by Wade Robson. The routine by Wade is as usual existential, about crash test dummies. I love Wade he is such an amazing choreographer. Routine of the night. Costume and make up senstional as well. Could have watched it over and over. Wade was on SYTYCD Australia and he was given 30 seconds screen time. How wrong was that?
Adam Shankman thought Wade was “One sick puppy” and they were “technically perfect”.
Melissa and Ade danced a contemporary Mandy Moore routine. Amazing lifts that were done well. Lucky for ballerina Melissa she got a contemporary routine first up, as I think she could struggle in other genres.
Adam Shankman thought “It was so special” and Mary gave it a scream.
Kayla and Max danced a samba by Louis Van Amstel. Louis has known back from Max since he was 14 years old. It was fantastic, it sizzled on screen. Mary put them on the hot tamale train.
Now onto the Elimination episode:
Bottom three were Tony and Paris, Asuka and Vitolio, and Karla and Johnathan.
Vitolio’s solo was amazing, Tony’s was entertaining but not much technique, and Paris lumbered around the stage. Asuka thinks she is a sex kitten, and Karla is a strong dancer. Johnathan thinks he is a mini Dimitri.
Paris and Tony were eliminated, and I am not unhappy with that. Tony has amazing charisma and stage prescence he will turn up somewhere.
Just one thing can we have Adam Shankman on every week?
