The good news is that the fabulous Rachel Zoe show has been renewed by Bravo TV for a second season.
The bad news is that if she thinks that having chest bones sticking out is a good look should she really be classified as one of the worlds best stylists. Rachel above at a fundraiser looks skeletal, but points for having the only real breasts in Hollywood and not botoxing her face.
If you are not watching her reality TV show it is highly recommended. Taylor her assistant is a complete scrag, and Rachel is surprisingly nice. I am still trying to decide if her husband Roger is gay.
Well this picture would suggest the answer is yes. This story of the lunch was revealed by Nicole Ritchie after she had had a falling out with the famous stylist. Anyway it will be interesting to see if she eats on her show which starts tonight on Arena at 8.30pm.
Ms Zoe whose
Wiki page says she was born in 1971 (bollocks) is famous for dressing her celebrity clients and is the first famous celebrity stylist.
In this week’s TV Week she reveals why she decided to do the show.
Interview as follows:
Your show, The Rachel Zoe Project, follows you as you style the stars. Why did you decide to do it?
It was something I’d really resisted in the past, but I have such respect for the producers, the network and the effect they have on their audience. But I am not going to lie – it was very scary to take that chance!
Your husband, Rodger, is a big part of the show. What was his initial reaction to the idea?
Rodger and I have been together for over 16 years and married for 10 and a half. If he’s like, “Baby, I don’t think you should do this, it doesn’t feel right,” then I’m most likely not going to do it. He’s known me from day one and I wouldn’t be here without his support. It takes a tremendous man to deal with my life.
How did you meet?
It’s really very normal! We were in college at George Washington Uni and I was a hostess at a restaurant where he was a waiter. That’s how we met. I was 20 years old.
Which stars have you most enjoyed working with?
The women I work with now are the reason I’m still a stylist. Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Liv Tyler, Demi Moore, Eva Mendes – they’re tremendous people and tremendous actors. If I didn’t love them as much as I do, I couldn’t do this job anymore because you truly give your whole life to it.
Is there anyone you’d love to get your hands on?
It’s a hard one to answer because I’m so consumed with who I work with now. But truthfully, I would love to work with Johnny Depp he is amazing.
Do you work with many men?
I wouldn’t say many, but I work a lot with Details magazine. I work with both Ashton Kutcher, and Brad Pitt sometimes. When I started I worked almost solely with men.
You’re a guest judge on Project Runway this season…
It’s so much fun. Heidi [Klum] has been a friend of mine for a long time, as have Nina Garcia and Michael Kors. It’s like we forget the cameras are there and just have fun. It’s such a tremendous show and the designers are so talented. It was a great experience.
