The Apprentice’s Carmen Parnos Comes Out Swinging To Critics
There were some comments on this blog about Carmen Parnos and about her knowing she was going bankrupt but still getting people to do work for her knowing she would be unable to pay them.
Well this debate is playing out between the actual players in this drama on Anthill Online go and read the comments. Carmen comes out firing to people criticising her, but I still cannot work out who is telling the truth.
Also there is a link to her website Superleaders but I think the whole concept of her website is all a bit of a wank. Also I can see A Current Affair reporters chasing the disgruntle punters now.

This sounds very familiar to another recent reality tv contestant. Why do these people think that going on a national tv show is a good idea if they have a host of unpaid debts?
Any person can see that your past is going to catch up with you. Whilst going bankrupt isn’t always avoidable, it dosn’t seem too smart to me to then go and flaunt your new found fame (and possible economic boom) in the face of unpaid creditors. They are not going to be happy, and as we have seen before, it dosn’t take too long for the stories to start emerging.
As a tip to any newbies applying for a reality tv show as a shortcut to fame and fortune, make sure you have checked with your accountant first!

You people who know this sort of stuff about Carmen Parnos should go to Channel 7′s today tonight. Man, they would eat that story up like there is no tomorrow, especially the story about Carmen swindling her parents inlaw to buy a BMW X5 (does’nt get much more juicier that that). Channel 7 love’s to smash channel 9 at every opportunity they get. It would make great TV.

Well Wanda, Anna whatever you want to call yourself I happen to know quite differently, unfortunately it is a small world and you open your mouth to the wrong people who at the time are egging you on to go this far, but let me tell you they are laughing behind your back. Make no mistakes I know you and the artsy crowd you hang around with.
Anna, it is a shame that you feel you need to go down this path, I would have thought with your skills and background you would have dealt with this with some ‘dignity’.
It surprises me that you are a creditor going down this path, as it is against the law to harass people who are bankrupt, wouldn’t conversations with her trustees be more effective? after all they are the ones monitoring her every move and bank account transactions!?
I wonder if the university you are working for knows who you really are, perhaps some media down there would be an interesting outcome for you!

I truly feel like hopping back on a plane out of this country again, reading disdainful comments like this is so typical of Australian Business Culture…I think this site and others like it just enjoy ‘the witch hunt’ not concerned how it effects other human beings in this world who are trying to pull themselves out of their horrid situations, American’s think it is great that somebody fights back after they have lost everything, not this country! And mind you I am Australian, born and bred.
If you are a creditor out there, go and find out the processes that are in place before you point fingers and know that people like Carmen have very little control over their income or how they live. When she declared bankruptcy I am quite confident that was her last resort…given that she also had a stroke to go along with that!
And finally Sally, I find it interesting that your rebuttal to my post can be summed up as this a) abuse and attack the charachter of the person you for some reason believe to be the writer [which is not me, so it is no skin off my pretty nose] and b) cite American as the land of a fair go.
Oh well, go figure!

I have to say I feel sorry for that Carmen woman. The way she is crucified on the net everyday. Any prospective business partner, client, etc. only has to google her name to find all these stories.
However, if she owes all that money, etc, why doesn’t she just get a job? My sister earns $500 a week and has 3 kids. Not much money but she can hold her head up high, I think it’s better than that ‘get rich quick scheme’ from Carmen on the net, especially as she doesn’t disclose the fact she’s bankrupt anywhere in the website (please correct me if i’m wrong)
The right thing is sometimes the hardest but you only live once, so at least try and right the wrongs
